That's because the people that claim they haven't game planned in two years say they need more time off from gameplanning.

The OP"s suggestion is illogical and way too short.

Something like a 46 day season with a 4 day preseason would make more sense. Imo 1 preseason scrim/day is good form.

I'd be ok with a 44 day off-season IFF you could sign people to future contracts after ~d20 or so for the following season (IE lock them in to be auto-signed on d42 because they accept a contract for next year). Currently the scrum that is d42 makes anything before d46 a BAD idea.

Eh I don't think the future intent thing is a good idea at all. You could be locked into a situation on day 20 that completely ends up screwing you as you see it play out later on. No reason to make those headaches more critical.

i would bet this gets implemented even with 50/50 support. shorter off-season means one more GLB season per WGG fiscal year --more $$$ in same time.

I would agree to shortening off-season but not to 2days.
After a each season, I would think some of us could use a slight break from the rigors of GM (DC, OC, ST) duties.

well clearly they arent using the offseason to implement changes, even website changes.... so maybe we need to adjust the OP to say "implement changes during the long offseason and not during the regular season, or shorten the offseason"
