Like the participation but wonder if its time for the mods to lock this thread as it has nothing to do with the game and can easily offend many different customers of the game.

Lets talk NFL...I'm personally a Cowboys fan, and after a deplurable performance against KC, I can forsee another 8-8 season on the way. Not that it matters, because a Denver vs Seattle SuperBowl looks to be most promising to me. And the Seahawaks take it by a TD.....Who's next?

I have not seen the dominating defense so far this season. Teams can play offense but apparently defense takes time.

Denver and Seahawks look like natural contenders for a Superbowl berth.

Green Bay could pull it together as well as others. The Saints' defense is terrible so far this season.

Can the Cowboys reclaim the title of America's Team?...we'll see.

Denver is going to be tough in the AFC. I think who ever ends up with home field in the NFC gets the win. Seattle is great at home and might not be beat there, but if they don't get home field. They can be beat.

I agree. By the way, New Orleans is my home town team. Saying their defense is struggling and they don't protect Brees is quite obvious. I'd love see the Saints compete this season for the top slot. Their new DC has more work to do is all.

Ok....a work in progress. They have some injuries. The new DC is doing a good job. I guess I am comparing the current defense to the Dome Patrol of days gone bye. Believe me....I'm pulling for the Saints. New Orleans is my home town. Born in New Orleans. Spent over 50 years in New Orleans. Still live in Louisiana. So, don't think I'm down on them because I love the Dirty Birds.

And the NFC West will be a crapshoot for the Divisional crown. Even at 8-8, I still beleive Dallas has the best chance of winning the division. Only other team in contention at the moment( and I understand its early) is the Eagles....and just give Vick some time, he will come to his true form as he always does. But as for the Giants and Skins, Lets just say some major changes will have to be implemented if they wanna be a contender. saints have the Falcons, Bucs, and Panthers to deal with. Bucs are only 3 points away and a few stupid penalties from 2-0. Cam Newton and Panthers kept the Seahawks in check, which is no easy burden.

I agree with you about Dallas and the Eagles. Giants have Eli but need consistency on defense and wide receivers.
NFC South is really a tough one....the Falcons have some great weapons as do the Saints....their recent game was a nail biter!
I'm pulling for VICK. He's getting too many drops. He's a great passing QB not just a guy who can run!

The 49ers look very vulnerable....will they rise up to last season's standard?
