Damn! Just short, My Dawgs on the road gave them all they wanted.
We should have been higher than #15 and now with back to back games vs the #5 and #2 teams in the country
we could get bounced from the top 25.

Oh well we were never in the NC hunt and will have time to fight our way back into
the top 25 and get a good bowl game.

Proud of the Huskies!

GOOD GOD - here is the heart stopping games I need to win my teasers:

1. UGA just to win
2 USF just to win
3. Stanford just to win

Each of a three in just a win parlay - idiots say you don't win in a tease - well, I'm up 27K using that only so F them idiots.

Rutgers(4-1, 1-0 AAC) at #8 Louisville (5-0, 1-0 AAC)
A little justice dropping a 1 spot but if anyone beats this paper tiger before the Bowls it
may have to be Rutgers. As much as I would love to see a very solid Rutgers team,
after SMU took them to OT I have to take Louisville by 3.

#1 Alabama (5-0, 2-0 SEC) at Kentucky (1-4, 0-2 SEC)
It's not Bama's fault that they play Kentucky they are a SEC team.
Bama by 31.

#2 Oregon (5-0, 2-0 Pac-12) at #16 Washington (4-1, 1-1 Pac-12)
My Dawgs have a great offense and this season have been outstanding on
Defense. The Huskies know Oregon as well as anyone in the country and
they run a high tempo offense too. It's in a newly completely rebuilt stadium
with 70,000 outstanding fans! All that said the Ducks are maybe the best team in the country and win by 17.

Boston College (3-2, 1-1 ACC) at #3 Clemson (5-0, 3-0 ACC)
This should be a good game as BC is always better than they get credit for!
Clemson is a real NC contender and will win by 14.

#5 Stanford (5-0, 3-0 Pac-12) at Utah (3-2, 0-2 Pac-12)
Stanford just got out of a real battle but I think games like that make good teams better.
Stanford will walk away with it by 21.

#25 Missouri (5-0, 1-0 SEC) at #7 Georgia (4-1, 3-0 SEC)
The banged up Bulldogs should still have more than enough for
Missouri. Dawgs by 10.

#9 Texas A&M (4-1, 1-1 SEC) at Ole Miss (3-2, 1-2 SEC)
The Aggies will have little trouble with Ole Miss as they win by 21.

#17 Florida (4-1, 3-0 SEC) #10 LSU (5-1, 2-1 SEC)
This should be a fantastic game! LSU only loss is to the big bad bulldogs.
The Gators loss is to ACC powerhouse Miami Hurricanes!
Both teams still have realistic hopes of climbing back into the NC hunt.
I think LSU pulls it out by 1.

California (1-4, 0-2 Pac-12) at #11 UCLA (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12)
The Bruins are looking very strong this season. The California
Golden Bears will be in big trouble! UCLA by 21.

#12 Oklahoma (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) Texas (3-2, 2-0 Big 12)
I keep thinking Texas will get things turned around but not vs the Sooners!
Oklahoma will get it done and win by 13.

#14 South Carolina (4-1, 2-1 SEC) at Arkansas (3-3, 0-2 SEC)
OK here is my wacky pick of the week. The razorbacks have dropped 3
in a row but al close games vs very good teams. last week they had a tall task in the swamp but
they get to come home and I think they get up and take down The Camecocks! Arkansas by 1.

#15 Baylor (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) at Kansas St(2-3, 0-2 Big 12)
No disrespect to KSU but I'm loving the Bears this season.
If they keep this up we may see a real shift in Texas football.
Baylor is now really out shining schools like TCU and Texas Tech.
Baylor beats KSU by 24.

#18 Michigan (5-0, 1-0 Big Ten) at Penn St (3-2, 0-1 Big Ten)
Akron and U conn had me thinking UM was a paper tiger but wins over ND and Minnesota
are changing my mind. Anyway Penn State is looking very down this season. UM by 17.

#19 Northwestern (4-1, 0-1 Big Ten) Wisconsin (3-2, 1-1 Big Ten)
Wisconsin may not be in the NC hunt but they belong in the top 25 and will be
there after they handle Northwestern and win by 14.

Iowa St (1-3, 0-1 Big 12) at #20 Texas Tech (5-0, 2-0 Big 12)
Iowa stae is no match for a very good Red Raiders squad!
Texas Tech wins by 24.

Akron (1-5, 0-2 MAC) at #23 N Illinois (5-0, 1-0 MAC)
N. Illinois Huskies have quality wins over Iowa nad Purdue.
They may not be in the NC hunt but they have the horses to beat the Zips by 21.

Pittsburgh (3-1, 2-1 ACC) at #24 Virginia Tech (5-1, 2-0 ACC)
This one is really interesting. Pitt has only lost to FSU and VA Tech has only
lost to Alabama. Both teams have not lost since week one.
I'll take the Hokies by 10.

Good luck everyone!

I agree on Texas - I keep thinking you can't have that many four and five star recruits play so bad for so long then I saw the Iowa State game and it quickly changes my beliefs they can turn it around. It's creeping up on a year plus they haven't been able to tackle and the OL was supposed to be a difference maker with all five returning - they are not that good and while I think they play better with Ash at the QB spot I don't like much about this team.

NW has traditionally given WI fits since that O places the defenders in space and the back seven hasn't been the swiftest afoot. However, will be tough for the NW D to slow the Badger ground game down and while I'm surprised to see the line open at -9.5 for WI I think this will be a tough ball game with NW possibly winning but I like WI coming off the bye and being prepared to take on both the QB styles NW employs.

Curious to see how good (or poor) the A&M D plays against Ole Miss. They looked read bad against the Razorbacks a few weeks back.

Should be an interesting although not to exiting of a week. Everyone jumping on Mizzou - that UGA O if Gurley plays is still formidable.

The Badgers are going to run, run some more, and then run again. There should be a ton of points scored but coming off a bye and at home in a must win for the Badgers gives me a warm fuzzy.

Rutgers(4-1, 1-0 AAC) at #8 Louisville (5-0, 1-0 AAC)
I think this will be a good game! Rutgers is a solid team and Louisville
is 8 to 10 spots to high on the Top25 IMO.

I'm thinking Louisville will get up this one as it may be the hardest game on their schedule.
I wonder what BADGERBACKER or MK22 think on this one?

I pick Louisville but and hoping for a Rutgers upset!

UL has now won 3 in a row in this series. LY RU was at home in a game for the BE Title. QB Teddy Bridgewater gave a remarkable performance. He had a broken wrist and a sore ankle but he came in the gm in the 2Q with the team down 7-0 and hit 20-28-263 in the 20-17 win. UL is off a bye and a 30-7 win over lowly Temple. However, they did lose leading WR Parker to a
strained shld’r and he is doubtful here. Bridgewater avg 312 ypg (72%) w/a 16-1 ratio. Rutgers meanwhile is off a trip to SMU where they nearly blew a 21 pt 4Q lead in their thrilling 55-52 win in 3OT. They are now traveling again on a short week. UL does not have many primetime opportunities to impress but I think they take adv of that here.

From Phil Steele but I agree with his assessment and prediction (LV 37 Rutgers 16) - traveling back to back and heading into a hornets nest. Oh, I like it but not enough to put any $$ down on it.

One thing I don't like - the Cards rest the studs when the game is in hand. That hurts totals and spreads so a team I like to stay away from.

Kind of waiting on this one to see if the A&M D is really this bad and if that stud WR is hurt bad - he let's Johnny just "throw it up" at times - not if he's really injured which would be a shame:

#9 Texas A&M (4-1, 1-1 SEC) at Ole Miss (3-2, 1-2 SEC)
The Aggies will have little trouble with Ole Miss as they win by 21.

Of course they gave up a ton to Bama but against Arky two weeks ago was brutal (funny that pick six the D had helped spur them onto a win).

Rut/LVille - not in my wheelhouse. I start by picking 20 games I like and narrow down from that list. They didn't make the cut = I didn't like the line. Lville has to make a statement though as they don't face many "good" teams and if I'm not mistaken not one ranked team so they could be 12-0 and left out of the BCS (which should be the case).

The schedule stinks and they are not winning by enough for me to say "let them crash the BCS party." Saw them against Kentucky and they looked average.

Ohio (49-7) - Ohio is 4-1 but lol MAC.
E. Kentucky (44-7) - a .500 team in 4th place in the OVC conference (you read it right - OVC)
Kentucky (27-13) - An SEC team just too bad is a terrible one who should finish at 1-11 (win against Miami, Ohio)
Florida International (72-0) - 1-4 in C-USA
Temple (30-7) - 0-5
Rutgers (4-1) - decent enough team that came back on Ark, lost to Fresno St. in OT and got damn lucky against SMU this past weekend.
----------------------------------------------------------
UCF - this could be the ole upset special
South Florida - terrible
UConn - terrible
Houston - terrible
Memphis - terrible
Cincy - decent enough but lost to the Illini by a ton and to a terrible S. Florida team.

This equation does not get them to a BCS game but they'll get there someone which will be BS.

Hey, I am a Memphis fan (not by birth, but by marriage :-) ). We aren't great, but we are young and getting better. We should have beaten a pretty good UCF team and had two touchdowns scored (given by the refs as the fumble shouldn't have been a fumble as all of the announcers on tv said and the replays showed. Not to mention it was a helmet to helmet it and should have drawn a flag) in the last minutes of the game to lose. UCF should have beaten South Carolina the week before. Two years ago, we were absolutely the worst team in the NCAA's. We brought in a bright up and coming assistant from TCU and now are competitive in every game even though we are primarily playing freshman and sophomores. Yes, we have a long way to go, and yes Louisville will beat us. It may not be a runaway game though. For those not from the area, Memphis and Louisville are big rivals (more so in basketball, but even in football). Rivalry game, you never know what could happen.

Recap of the UCF finish:
Two UCF touchdowns in 9 seconds late in the fourth quarter Saturday gave the Knights a come from behind 24-17 victory over Memphis in the American Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

The scores came in unusual ways as lineman Chris Martin recovered a fumble in the end zone with 2:05 left for UCF (4-1, 1-0 AAC) to tie the game at 17.

On the ensuing kickoff, Memphis returner Marquis Warford fumbled when he was tackled by UCF's William Stanback. Drico Johnson grabbed the ball and ran 12 yards for the Knights' 24-17 lead.Memphis' Joe Craig returned the next kickoff almost 100 yards for an apparent score, but it was nullified by a holding penalty. The Tigers (1-3, 0-1) then marched to the UCF 6 before a halfback pass by Brandon Hayes was intercepted in the end zone by linebacker Terrance Plummer, ending the Tigers threat.

The week before UCF lost to South Carolina 25-28 after thoroughly outplaying them in the first half.

Teddy was not spectacular when he had to be. If you look at like opponents take Carr from Fresno and Teddy against a like opponent (Rutgers):

Ted
21/31 for 310 and 2 TD's (1 pick and a lost fumble)

Carr
52/73 for 456 and 5 TD's (1 pick)

Memphis is shitty (last bowl win in '05). The only saving grace is the conference they play in so wins are possible.

"On the ensuing kickoff, Memphis returner Marquis Warford fumbled when he was tackled by UCF's William Stanback. I was watching this on the ESPN deal and wondering what the hell was going on - chalked it up to some lost dollars as I thought UCF would roll easily and grabbed them in a just win with a few other teams.

Oh, it's nice to see the lovely gals from Austin and Norman in downtown Dallas. Boomer in the lead of hotness but there are more of them.
