There has been some discussion as to the inadequacy of the promtion process for the causal leagues. bascialy the lower 2 teams from each pro conference are replaced by the conferenc winnes in elite 1 and 2.
The formula tha works for regular is not working for casual , look at the numbers. There are 5 regular pro leagues (including the world which is mostly regular) 20 turnover for 7 semi-pro leagues = 224 teams, 20/224 teams = 10% turnover
there is 1 casual pro = 4 teams to serve 4 leagues = 128 teams 4/128 = 3% turnover. It is 3 x harder to get a promotion in th casual with this setup
I have started a thread in suggestions as per bort, that is necessary to make any changes. we need other owners and team memebers to contribute to make it look like it is of concern to more than 2 people,
Elements checking in, to me it looks like all the best teams are put in nags conference , so another way to f#%* Us again by limiting at most one of the top teams getting into the pros (:

What else I find comical is that the rum runners at 9-7 last season in semi get moved to rpe 1. No balance or forethought. I'll be pm-ing catch when i get home, to ask specifically what is the parameters to stay in rpe 1, move to rpe 1&2 from semi, and move from rpe1 to other rp leagues.

Talked to bigmo when he came by today. Basically just let him know that it was going to be a brutal, brutal season for the Runners no matter how you sliced it. A whole lot of nasty in that one division. Not quite as nasty as the division Palmetto is in because for the most part the teams are all day 240 teams. But a lot of damned good 240 teams. That first season in Regional Pro is most definitely a Meatgrinder for the teams coming up.
