I would love to, but I worry about 2 things:

1) 70% of people can't even figure out how to resize an avatar to 75x75 or make something in Photoshop that doesn't look god awful

2) There would be an influx of fields that incorporate breasts or penises.

Therefore, I think the best way to go about it would to be to have a field creator where you'd choose endzone art from a list and the like, but that's quite a bit of work.

What would the sim look like if the random factor was reduced to 0? Would that help or hurt testing the impact of things like SAs/VAs?

Probably would be what we would do if we implemented. Would probably be much more limited than 2 point conversions. Would probably only be a trailing late <5 minute thing. I don't see us allowing it any other quarter but the 4th.

CPU teams are added as needed to fill holes. There's no way to contract that.

People are going to abandon teams when they want whether they can sell them or not, so we might as well let them.

The leagues get ordered once and support deals with additional requests after that. That's how it will stay.

It's fairly impossible for there to be an Any Given Sunday type thing between unevenly matched teams in GLB. I also don't think we want to limit things the players can do. We tried that (see last season) and the results were fairly miserable.

There are some SA only apply to some position and some SA could apply to all position, but their description will make player confused.
Like break through, it says "this skill is important for powerful run stopping DT", but it should apply to DE, too.
Like tunnel vision, it says "This skill is important for DEs who rush the passer a lot. They will be harder to stop once they are locked in.", but we know LB could use this, too.


Probably something we can work on in the future. I'll have to go through all the SA's and see how they could be cleaned up.

It's hard to think of something we could add to make player cash meaningful other than "bling" type items. Tying them to in game performance (as we learned early on) just leads to exploits. I always though we could have like a GLB Casino that people could use their cash with so maybe I'll get Bort to work on that since he has nothing else to do lol.

Eligible receivers literally cannot block beyond the line on screens before the ball is in the air (that's the rule).

Defenders are allowed to go through receivers for balance and convenience reasons more than anything.

Blocking from behind is sorta odd to deal with, since dots in GLB don't have a front or back per-se. The best we can do is base it on the angle they are moving towards or the angle to the ball carrier. Based on those rules, blocks in the back don't happen, though they may look like it to our eyes. The only way to improve those aspects would be to add a facing direction to the players, and that's a whole other ball of wax.

In this game building plan is all for AEQ, but once we addressed the attribute bonus we can't change it, even there comes some sim update.(i.e.: you make blocking much impact on hold blocking roll)


No plans on changing that. How you use your AEQ needs to be something you think long and hard about.
