No plans on adjustments in this area. Probably something users need to address via builds rather then a "nerf"

Also, could you give a rough overview of things that you're considering looking into for Special Teams?

I have a list of suggestions from testers from last off-season. I don't recall all the things on it, but it was mostly path choices and the like.

With the 6 plateau boosts, probably so. Not 100% sure of that though, I'd have to crunch some numbers to verify.

Well, we should but I've been saying that for a year now.

Bort are you going to lower the flex costs for players, specifically wr's, ol/dl?

I can answer this one as well.

No.

Reason: because we're happy with the pricing model.

That's more a function of available slots and not the actual time it requires for a scrimmage to run. We limit the number of available slots due to database limitations.

30 more minutes for questions and then we'll have a general discussion/chat for about 30 minutes.

FWIW, yes the bolded part above was discussed in the feedback from last off-seasons testers, along with many other points.

No plans on changing how flex works within GLB.

How much time do you spend working on GLB per week? If you want to share that info.

How long do you see this game running for? How many seasons?

I don't play it any more, mainly because I don't have time, can't really properly interact with teammates due to 20000 questions and requests, and I get 100000 contract offers if I make a player, etc. I get plenty of feedback from Catch, reading threads around the forum world, and watching replays for stuff I do and don't like.

I try and work somewhere between 40 and 60 hours a week in general, sorta randomly all hours of the day and night. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on what's going on. I also do a lot of thinking about ideas and problems while doing other mundane stuff like driving somewhere, eating, taking a shower, etc.

I see the game running as long as there are people wanting to play it. No idea how long that is, but 4+ years so far is pretty good IMO.

1) What part of the coding of the sim are you the most proud of/remember most fondly when you came up with the idea?

2) How many vision checks would you say are being performed by the SS in this play, and how many would you guess he is passing or failing? http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2100032&pbp_id=5016893

3) Will MPHD win WL this season? Ever?

1) The general ball carrier pathfinding was one of the more difficult things to come up with. The elusiveness slider and code surrounding how that works I remember thinking was pretty slick. Some of the newer QB targeting code works pretty good, too.

2) Assuming he was playing deep zone, I'd guess he was faling a lot, all throughout the latter part of the play. There's a check every tick until he passes, so he got a lot of chances.

3) Well that's not up to me!

first is there any plan to review that pathing, because I have seen dots (FS in the recalled instance) run several dot widths straight into an already engaged blocker and be stuck for several ticks. Is that working as intended or?

second, what if anything goes into the chance of a defender avoiding running into a an engaged block? Vision? Agility? Or is it just the pathing routine to run into it and be delayed regardless of dot quality or distance etc? Very frustrating aspect of the game, would be nice to know how it works to avoid it.

The pathfinding range/strength variables could probably use some adjustments here and there, but overall it tends to work pretty well IMO.

The largest factors are vision and agility vs speed. Vision determines if the defender even sees a blocker to try and avoid him. And agility will allow him to change direction. Super speedy guys will probably have more difficulty once they are up to speed, because it's harder to change direction.

Any plans to scrap higher level D-leagues? The teams and players are already spread too thin.
