1) Why would anyone NOT want to be in her shadow?

2) Outside of her shadow I have 3 MVP's and 21 retired players who won league titles and multiple current players that have won titles and tournaments where I am the OC and DC and have nothing to do with Melissa.

Why does everyone always with the "I don't care" or "You spend too much time/money on GLB" excuses. You spend money just like the rest of us to "enjoy" (sometimes I wonder ) this game. You obviously care about DN or you wouldn't have posted that you thought they were better than the rankings. I would care about a team if 2/3 of my players were on it too. I know its hard, but I think its about time to admit that you were just wrong about the post. Yes, I know. No one likes to do this, but it takes a real man to admit when he is wrong.

After DN plays RB, NHG, and HOOD on consecutive days, then you can talk about the SoS and how you should be ranked higher, but my guess is that you will give up a TD or two to those teams (the original logic for them being #1). It wouldn't even surprise me if you won all 3 games (much better odds than losing all 3), but the body of work right now does not merit a ranking above 5 IMO.

Exactly.....no one is hating on you or your team. Dark Nightmare is a great team! But you can't gripe about your slot in the rankings until you have done something to prove that you belong higher in the rankings.

Battering ECSD twice counts for something (it was only once when the rankings came out), but the RMO win I don't count because it was preseason (who puts in an actual GP in the preseason?). I only looked at ranked scrimmages, GLB Tourny games, and regular season.

Nothing but respect for Terry54 and DavyJonesLocker and like I said previously.....DN is a great team!! I also agree that preseason game don't count. A lot of teams purposely sabotage preseason when they are playing a tough opponent that they will face later that season.

I'll just say that I thank Drizzy for caring about my team enough to throw himself out there. Thank you. As far as the rankings, they really mean nothing to me. I have actually asked terry54 in the past that if he does any rankings to put us 5 spots lower than he thinks we belong. That's just how I'd prefer it.

As far as my team goes, I think we are great. Our Rookie title isn't much to hang our hat on so until we win another League title, then we can't beat our chests. We had our chance to beat Rome last season, but we didn't and it doesn't matter why or why not. They went on to beat the 4 time reigning champions. So as far as I am concerned, Rome and Mustang Nation are 1/2 or 2/1.

I would also like to say, that this is a team game. Dick measuring(excluding Melissa) about trophies and MVP's and Tournaments is pointless. We all have trophies, and we wouldn't have won them without the help of other people. Even MVP trophies come with help from those around you, so bragging about MVP trophies is silly too. Our HB I.M. Gone is 2nd in MVP voting right now. The only reason I am pointing this out is to show how important this game is as a team game and bragging about individual accomplishments is pointless. I.M. Gone didn't just become great overnight, he was already a great RB on some less than great teams in the past. So in essence, I.M. Gone has made Darkness better and Darkness has made I.M. Gone better. Our O-line has made him better, and he has made our O-line look better.

As stupid as the scripts look sometimes, they are an unbiased assessment of the League and the season based on factual data. So congratulations Rocky Mountain, you are the best team right now

Agree completely Melissa. I was getting bored and seen the opportunity to stir the pot and jumped right in it to stir it up more That's why I pointed out that I had nothing but respect for DN and Terry and Davy.

The only real aim of these threads is to get people talking, so they seem to be working
