1) DN- They brought in about 7 new players at the start of this season and that really seems to paying off now. In this batch of new players was 2 WR's who have really added to the passing game making DN's offense a lot better than last season. Combine that with their defence which is looking great so far, as nobody at our age as scored a TD against them yet in 15 games. So they're looking good right now, haven't had a test in the league yet but that will come in week against RB then HOOD the following week. They also face NHG on the 9th in the world cup tournament.
2) MNTF- After losing to RR last season I think mellissa is trying even harder now, she wants her trophy back from DG's trophy cabinet! They've had some very impressive scrim wins against NHG and ECT and also a huge 31-3 win against RR, when they just passed them off the pitch. We could see that happening a lot this season with the changes to passing. MNTF might be better than ever!
3) NHG- Basically their week 1 win over RD has got them this high. NHG have got a really easy schedule from now until later on in their season when they will have to play RB,DN,ECT and HOOD. But we can see how they do against ECT in the GLB tourney and DN in the WC tourney, that will be a good indicator of if they should be #3.
4) RMO- They've had a great start to their season, they beat ECT in the league and RD in the GLB tourney, and they haven't even boosted. I don't know if they can keep it up but for now they deserve to be 4th for sure.
5) RR- Last years champs are down in 5th after their dissapointing loss to MNTF, they need to bounce back against RD and RMO in the league to get back in the running for the 1st seed in the East. The game against RD should be good with both teams really needing the win!
6) RD- They haven't had the best start to the season, with the loss to NHG and they might not qualify in the WC tourney after their loss to HOOD. After Gotland, they face RR and MNTF back to back. 2 wins would make them favourite for the 1st seed while 2 losses would more likely have them in 4th. RD need the win against RR to get their season started!
7) ECT- Another team who haven't boosted for some reason? Although their loss did come to another non-boosted team in RMO. That loss will make it hard for them to finish above 3rd but a win against HOOD this week should secure 3rd for them even this early in the season because they beat RB. They're always a tough team but this season their ST's don't seem as dngerous which might not make them the force they were in the past seasons. HB Bryan Shuber leads the league in recieving and is looking very dangerous himself taking over from Bryant as the man to watch on ECT.
8) RB- I thought they were looking good before their loss to ECT but now they need a win over a top side to get higher than 8th. They get a chance in week 6 against DN to prove themselves, then we'll see how good they are this season. Mind you they have done well to be in prime position to qualify from the group of death in the WC tourney.
9) HOOD- They will be very dissapointed with their loss over ID but a win over RD has got them into 9th.YOu never know hat you'll get from HOOD really!
10) UD- Love this team! They are currenty #1 in the west but they haven't had a proper game yet, we'll see how they compete this year but I think they're a play-off team for sure.
