All this is is a money grab. Your basically telling a lot of us to buy all the extra crap or leave. Catch, do you even care about actually making the game better?!

#1 - Allow for up to 3 boosts (no limitations) once a player enters plateau. A player could use this to boost from level 69 to level 72 or to take a player from level 73 to 76 if they so wished. Limitation - can only use this to boost up to a maximum level of 79.

Will this 100% or 80% refund rate include or exclude CEQ?

In season 8 you can use your 3 boosts at day zero, unless they unltimately cap it at 79. But then you won't get any plateau boosts since it is capped at 79.

You will still use at least one (and very likely two) plateau boosts to achieve level 79.

If I remember correctly, it was only barely possible to hit level 78...you have to get every single XP available. The world be an imperfect place, it is likely that you would fall a few hundred short and be level 77.8 or so, meaning 2 plateau boosts would bring you to level 79.

Cheese Sandwich:
I see you have not taken players to plateau yet, so you may not be aware of how things work. As of right now, a player born on day 41 will end his 11th season on day 439, and is able to boost one more time (x3boosts) during the next pre-season, then they hit plateau on Day 2 of the 12th season.

From the way things are written, it is clear that a new player born on day 41 will be 279 days old as they end their 7th season, will be able to use their "normal" 3 boosts at the beginning of the 8th season, then will hit plateau on day 2 and be eligible for their 3 plateau boosts at that point. A new player will have the opportunity for a total of 30 boosts, including 3 in the offseason when they are made, and the three plateau boosts. It appears as though this will be limited to 28 or 29 boosts by the level 79 cap, however (unless you missed some XP and need to make it up).

I'm sure Catch will let us know if this changes, but I think you can feel confident in this answer for now.

The new players cost less per player (even including the new Custom Gear options), have 5 seasons at their peak performance instead of 3, and take much less time to get there.

I'm not sure how you see that as a money grab, it's a really huge win for every agent I work with (including myself).

Thank god you're back online tautology, help me please. Obviously I'm confused about a few issues.

Per Catch, at the end of season 7 a player will be 280 days old yet you say 279 days old. Don't know that is really matters because in either case on day zero of season 8 a player will have 3 normal boots available. If a player is level 77 he could boost to 80 or if he is level 78 he can boost to 81. In either case the plateau boosts would not be available since they are capped at 79.

I thought one of the things stated somewhere in these 67 pages was that no player should be able to get level 80 equipment so it seems like they will have to cap normal boosts at 79 just like they are doing with plateau boosts.

I know I have to be missing something here.

The new plateau math is currently listed as follows:
20 boosts = 200 days (5 seasons)
-10 days for each boost <20
0 boosts = 0 days

Is it correct that only 20 boosts are needed for the full plateau, and that any boosts beyond the 1st 20 are just boosts and do not extend plateau?

Think the normal boosts in season 8 get him to level 77/78, then you have the plateau boosts in hand to use 1 or 2 to get to 79

This is a huge step to be better. What is wrong with this new way...please enlighten us? As Taut pointed out this is less money than it was before.
