#1-Louisiana Screaming Pelicans(14-0)The Pelicans laid waste to the World Legends 66-10 to continue their unbeaten streak. -=Champ=- Robert Meachum and -=Champ=- Marques Colston put together monster games combining for 22 rec, 343 yards, and 5 TD. Louisiana hosts the Osaka Storm (9-5) next game.
#2 Texas Lone Stars(14-0)Texas continued its unbeaten streak defeating Cheers handily 50-17. Cheers held a lead for 8:11 in the first quarter until the Lone Stars took over with TD runs by Power Back Jr and Brady Smith Jr to put them up 14-7. Texas punished Cheers in the trenches the rest of the game with 203.5 rushing yards, and holding the Live Audience attack to -7.5 yards rushing. TLS travels to Algoma (6-8) in hopes of dashing the Blames Stu playoff hopes.
#3-L.A. Halos(11-3) The Halos avoided warts by thrashing the Battletoads 37-6 at Mojo "Big-Ole Buddy" Field. This game was never in doubt for the Halos, as Lucky Juke rushed for 135 yards, leading a rushing attack that compiled more than 300 yards on the turf and a 4.8 yard average. L.A. will travel to Stuttgart to face a floundering Blitzkrieg (3-11) team.
#4 The Frogtown Posse(12-2)Frogtown escaped with a 22-10 victory against Cap Horn in the matchup of the week for the Western Conference. The game was won on the foot of Posse kicker Conner Barth, who hit 5/5 field goals. Despite only finding the end zone once, Frogtown amassed 361 yards of offense while holding the Nemesis to only 88.5. The Posse looks to continue its roll against hapless LEGION's Tangiers Cape Buffalo (2-12).
#5 Doinitin Djibouti(9-5)Doinitin euthanized the Village Dogs 31-13 in a game that may ultimately determine the fourth and final home field spot in the East. Village held a 14-10 lead at halftime, but lost two turnovers in the third quarter which were both returned for touchdowns, allowing Djibouti to sail to the victory behind WR Dragon’s Milk who collected 9 receptions, 103 yards, and a touchdown. Doinitin travels to Aztec Field to face Mayan Prophecy (8-6) in another game with playoff implications.
