So far, you've done just fine, but looks like you underestimated your own team's ability, there.

Now if Solomon can put it away, then you're 3/4... which only means one thing... who are you picking for Superbowl?

We should have been on opposite sides of the bracket; it's obvious no one else is going to give you a game

with Catch22 paying himself and Las Vegas Beating Solomon Islands in the final.

Great job with these.

Agreed! I might even scout a bit if we make it to the final four.

Ahem. You didn't think I missed this did you?

Well FWIW, it's a Karma thing as to why I chose Chatanooga over us for my official predictions. I did feel good about the matchup, but didn't want to jinx us by picking us.

As far as the Super Bowl goes, I've got the Steelers.

Edit to add:

pay no mind to my predictions. I think we beat Chattanooga in that region, but I hate calling a victory in public. Would rather go under the radar.

Well I can't speak for Solomon, but Catch has us outclassed. I would just hope to keep it a non-blowout. So I agree.

That said, We've got four pretty solid teams at the end here. Not bad for a completely random draw.

Yeah, I figured that was the case. I don't like to predict my outcomes either for basically the same reason.

Funny, I would have gone GBay. Alright, Steel-Town it is! (provided there's no blizzard or whatnot.

Same here, but still doesn't keep me from spending endless hours thinking of ways trying to beat him. For those "Gone in 60 Seconds" fans, he's my Eleanor or unicorn. (sorry was just on last night.). My goal is always to try and keep it under the spread. Sad thing is with the new age based leagues, unless something drastic happens, we'll be getting our asses handed to us by him forever Will be fun trying though.

Speaking for SIA, I have no idea how good we are or are not. I was expecting a closer game against the Force, but we kinda blew it up in the 4th quarter, including a punt return touchdown on the very last play of the game. We're certainly beatable IMO, especially since we were a .500 team in Elite the last couple seasons before getting inexplicably dropped to regular regional minors.

Still, grabbing a silly tournament trophy would sure make those of us who rolled that team originally as a farm team for Sumatra in OPL feel a lot better about sticking to our long term build plans. A lot of them are rounding in to shape and should be pretty mean Pro/World Leaguers in about 4 seasons.

My team can be beaten. Hell, I have 0 Gold trophies. Of course the ABL changed things a bit but a couple of teams have shown the potential to beat my team, just a matter of putting it together for a whole game. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Charlestown won.

FWIW, IMO, no one's beating you for a while in casual ABL's unless you stray from your gameplan. The way your team is built (more than just the actual dot, but the overall way the team concept and roles were designed) and the way defenses traditionallly build their dots makes it an impossible task. That combined with the limits of casual defense spells a nice long winning streak for you. The only way one could do it was if they completely altered their builds to worry about stopping you, which would kill them against everyone else.

Perhaps in a couple seasons as current builds mature it may become possible, but I don't see it happening for a while (again that is if you stick with your gameplan)

GG by the way. Even if we could have stopped you, we still weren't able to do anything ourselves so definitely no sour grapes here. I always look at playing you as a challenge, though I do admit real life morale surrounding that task continues to fade.
