This idea sucks. Why would a good GM ever try to help a team in need if he feels it could impact him negatively. Just another way to keep those who don't know what they are doing in the dark

I agree, but my guess is that it could be arranged so that it doesn't affect a good GM trying to help out ...this doesn't necessarily need to be looked at in a negative way coz once it was implemented it could be 'ironed out' and refined into a more agreeable outcome for everyone ...think about if a team was going to bring in a 'ringer' for the playoffs, which wouldn't be in the best interests of the game either ...it would be better to offer some ideas of compromise to help refine this suggestion, rather than trying to shoot it down coz unless you failed to notice, the votes are unanimously in favor of it

I love the idea but, what if someone is listed as the OC but, isn't actually doing the Offensive Coordinating. And a guy not listed as a OC is doing the coordinating.

simple ...then make them the OC! ...if he is just filling in for a game or two whilst the OC is on holidays or away for some unforseen reason, then this could be an example of what needs to be considered when implementing the ratings system ...i think that som1 here already suggested checking a box for coordinating powers which would go on your record, or giving the option for making it to contribute to your OCing/DCing ratings ...or maybe it could be left up to the owner as to who gets the ratings from each game by giving him the powers to check the box that gives credit to any one of the coordinator(s) that the owner chooses, and would be able to be witnessed by the team GMs on the team profile page, which could then be 'locked in' by that coordinator before each game to ensure that underhanded tactics are not being played by the owner?

I think it's a great idea. In addition the win lost stats etc. should be divided by Leagues at least Full and Casual to help owner's select coaching staff.

This idea also ties in with some of the other suggestios reguarding the meaningless GM trophy.

I look at teams where the whole roster is listed as a GM and find it hard to fathom how they each contribute.

My opinion is the best alright...
And I say the only stat a OC/DC/ST/GM should have is experience, how many seasons coached/managed, playoff wins/losses and championships... That's how real coaches are looked upon now a days, no?
