Step 1: Start on day 31.
Step 2: Train on intense, converting BT to SP. Don't get a single training breakthrough, not even one.
Step 3: Deposit SP into your attribute and boost on day 47 with 95% trained in your attribute assuming it started at 27. Should be at the first cap.

It works out in the player builder. You end up with 900 xp going into the season at level 4, and you can boost again when the season rolls over or (recommended) boost at the end of the season.

Just so everybody knows, increasing training effectiveness is not as good as converting BT to SP in order to reach early caps.

And multi training isn't as good as intense.
Normal and intense are almost even considering that normal yields more BT to convert, and intense yields better training.

I think this thread begs for a suggestion, it's not worth it for me to post in the appropriate sinkhole, but will throw it out there none the less.

Vets who have played this game for lets say 10 to 15 consecutive seasons and who have met certain criteria like owning a successful team, won championships as a coordinator, built so many players to a certain level, etc. should be given a reward point for every post they make in a forum such as Positional Talk or FAQ. By doing so, a valuable service would be provided to new customers and those on the fence about continuing with this game by an appriate resource.

PM the Catch, or post this in his forum. Good idea really.

Not a bad suggestion but any post made should actually contain advice and not just an unhelpful put-down which is seen too often in here.

Veterans who are helpful in these type of places already get rewarded by being (eventually) offered testing and/or moderation roles which (i) help their game knowledge and (ii) slightly increase their FP amount.

Intense to reach caps of first and second attributes, yes, after that, Quad dominates, you can get your third stat into the high 30s on quad while you finish your second attribute. And no, the extra BTs of normal do not make up the difference.

They nearly do when compared against intense for the first attribute. Nobody's talking about the third attribute, just the first.

Would be good if it was attached to a rating system. Obviously, rating systems could be abused too, but at least with a rating system you don't get positive points for negative or worthless posts.

BTW, if you decide to Suggest this, Let me know and I'll help bump it.

Not really. Being around doesn't mean you'll answer questions correctly.

i would as well. im not entirely sure we should get reward points, but new players do need a resource or good way to get in touch with knowledgeable vets... a better way than just the FAQ forum.

Which is why you would need a rating system. If I see an idiotic or unhelpful post I can rate it 0. The rating could be tied to the Agent's overall post rating. Good posters will tend to get higher ratings while bad ones will get lower ratings. Like I said it could be abused.

and those idiotic tutorial videos that don't explain almost anything except what you'd easily be able to deduce from simply looking yourself

Rated by whom? Not only are there issues of sincerity, but of ignorance. Just because a lot of people think something is true doesn't mean that it is. Really, people should just share their knowledge out of a desire to help others. I don't see a reward really helping much to get good information out there more than it already is.

And for the record, I think FAQ is pretty good, it just needs more mods dedicated to answering questions. I've been spending more time in there lately, but I get tired of answering everything.

problem with the faq forum is people have to go there, and they don't.

The ones who don't are also the ones who don't go to the main forums at all.
