and that is terrible advice. Its not worth it to boost it that first season.

both created same day. Waited to boost till end of next season.
Lv 26 with 977 XP

Lv 27 with 32 XP. Boosted to Lv 4 immediately. Still has one boost left.

And the gap is still closing.

Knock of the trolling ITT. If you want to comment about the original post you may do so, but this is not TT or a league forum. If it isn't Position Talk/Advice, then keep it to yourself.

false. But ok. Going to lvl 4 will net your 5 more SP in the end. Which although at that point is relatively small... it can mean an additional point in a high SA to bring it from say 8 to 9 or something.

Is it worth the investment? That's another story. I felt it was for my QB, not so much for the rest of my players.

I wouldn't do it unless I could cap at lv1 and still do it, which I don't think is possible is it?

eh, while I haven't done it for exactly the same archtypes, if I look at the players effective SPs, they are actually really similar which means that I made up the SPs from training. Trained the first attribute on intense to cap and then switched to multitrain on all the players.

I do believe it is possible using the multi-train...someone worked it out mathematically but it has to be very exact.

SP's from training are cool, but training can't apply to SA's.

You can't achieve it before it is time to boost.
Unless you are given an extra long off-season and you purchase all training upgrades and train on intense... then just maybe.

With this last shortened off season I managed to soft cap at level 1 by day 2 without purchasing training upgrades, so it'd be damn tough. Also need to purchase SP's with BT's, at least 1.

I was able to soft cap strength on my LDE this off season. All without adding any additional sps with bts or training upgrades. Can i get a cookie or maybe a high five?

did you do it before the pre-season starts?
Because it was very possible to make the softcap during the pre-season... but i highly doubt you made it before the off season ended.
Because in order to boost to level 4 (during season 16) the way he was talking about you'd need to be softcapped before the pre-season... and with the way this past off-season was shortened to end on day 50 (or 52... whenever it ended) you just don't have enough training days to train str from 27 (on day 31) to 34 (by day 50). That's 19 days of intense training, 21 at the most. And at 27 you gain ~35% per intense, and lower and lower as you level.

You could get damn close, but without training enhancements or purchasing any SP's I can't see you getting your primary past 33 before the pre-season begins... and dumping SP's at 33 to 48 is absolutely pointless since you'll miss the roll-over anyways, softcapping at level 1 only matters if you can bring the skill to 49, if you get 1 level of ALG's it'll put you to 48.5 which at that point it costs 2 anyways, so you might as well have waited.

If you did manage to softcap before the pre-season (without training enhancers or purchasing SP's) I'll give you a whole damn batch of cookies.

I don't think i read the part about it being for a 4cap team. I thought ti was just training in general for a level 1 over off-season. I blame it on the beer.

Never blame the beer. Unspoiled as a newborn baby. Pure as the driven snow. Innocent as the Blessed Virgin herself, is beer. To blame the beer - well, mere sacrilege does not suffice.
