Why can't O-linemen pancake defensive players during pass protection, yet D-linemen can revcake O-linemen during pass protection? Seems painfully unbalanced.

No it's still going to be the Normal-Competitive-Elite promotion type system based upon performance primarily.

I harp on this because "some" farm systems take advantage of the promotion/demotion process. They allow their team to lose all 16 games, drop a league and sign a full roster of Dots at the cap's top end. Teams promoting are facing opponents averaging 6 or 7 levels and over 100 effective points higher. With that kind of advantage the team can click on the Basic offense and win against the best of team.

Any plan to fix this kind of thing?

Catch, according to your announcement about new testers, you indicated there will be some focus on the lower levels moving forward. Will the sim scale attribute checks based on league level in the near future?

Only Bort can answer that - I do plan on creating test teams that will allow for testing at all levels not just the upper levels though.

Any chance you fix it so that when a player fumbles, his stats that he accumulated on the play are counted? Currently, they are not.

Example: Player catches a 95-yard pass, fumbles...he, and the quarterback, lose those 95 yards, the reception, and the completion.

Seems like a very simple thing to correct.

I believe there is a bug filed on that - matter of Bort correcting it.

Maybe I missed the answer to this one already in the announcements.... Are dots heading into extended plateau going to be granted VA resets at all to reflect the change in their usage on their teams?

IE. Some older dots start gearing up for new roles on ST and are now going to have longer shelf lifes as normal players. Are they going to be granted a chance to get their VA's right?

Having been with GLB as an employee now for a reasonable duration, does the distance to a finished product seem further away, or closer than you initially imagined when hired? (Now that you truly understand the scope of the game, and the sim driving the meat and potatoes of it.)

Closer. When I was a GLB customer I thought it would be at least 2012-2013 before this game left Beta. I don't think that will be the case.

I am sure he is dead serious, it has happened before where testers knew about things before the public owners did. So is it true?

Probably Black Friday will be the only flex sale this year, but I'm not DD so don't quote me on that.

Does GLB recognize that it is a problem that wrs (not returners) never fumble (I am talking about 1 fumble for an entire 12 season career with weak fumble prevention skills)?

This was skipped...

Not skipped - just don't have an answer other then what I previously stated to foofighter about sim issues. Not going to repeat that for every sim issue that people post, sorry.

Speaking as a football coach, it's because, when pass blocking, you are moving backwards and the only thing you (should) care about is staying engaged. An OL that tries to pancake a defender during a pass play, more often than not, is going to get pulled down on his face and give up a hurry or sack.

Why did it take this long to attempt to fix the way leagues are organized in AA/AAA and Pro?

Right now, a 3-man rush can consistently get pressure against 6 or more blockers. Are there any plans to revisit bonuses to blocking when a defender is double-teamed? Or pass-blocking mechanics in general?

Only the 441-480 day old dots will get full VA resets, all other players will get their normal resets.
