The reason you're the only person who has said that a longer plateau fixes the league structure is because everyone else besides you already knows that the biggest problems with league structure were not at the Pro level. An extended plateau will push some players back into AAA and theoretically improve competition there, but probably not too much, and it will have no effect at all on AA or below except perhaps to make people even less likely to create new players or keep up with the young ones they already have. So basically, the extended plateau and league restructuring are almost totally unrelated.

Since I am the only one, AND you can read my mind, answer me two questions.

1. What are the biggest problems with league structure?

2. And what do you think I think were the problems that 2.5 times more players at the higher levels would fix?

Ah so it is impossible to expand contract the pyramid, so we must go to caps for that? Is that what you are saying?

Again, the problems with league structure were not at the Pro level.

So you though, that I thought it would fix the Pro level? This is where you fail. You think you know what others are thinking.

Pro will be much stronger. AAA will go back to being a tough league as well, and AA will be what AA used to be. Good teams recruit and move up to WL faster this way than any other.

What would the point of going to capped leagues be?

We will still be restructuring leagues in order to increase competition throughout the leagues (low and high level)

I don't imagine that anyone has any idea what you're thinking. Sometimes you post and I still have no clue. Regardless, the notion that an extended plateau would invalidate league restructuring is nonsensical, so please stop saying that.

This Plateau extension has put league structure on hold for another 3 seasons. I guess we will have to wait a few more seasons. We already know who will be in the championship final for the next 3 seasons.

I guess I just never understood the excitement in the lateral moving tiers, combined with the vertical moving promotions.

I hope you guys really give it some thought. If the game is fun I'll continue to play, and buy flex, if not oh well.

Please don't call O-Pro lame.
