if u have good form tho , strength matters alot less , as well as having speed on ur side helps alot to , its more about MOMENTUM rather then just pure strength

hell , last year or they year before cant remember , champ bailey hit larry johnson straight on , taking out his legs with an arm tackle / dive one , and even forced a fumble on him

we all know champ isnt near the strongest guy in the league , and LJ beaks tackles like its nobodys business , and running straight on , u guys seem to think that takes a severe amount more strength , but thats just not the case

Agree.

High tackling stat should make strength almost unimportant. Lack of strength should lead to the ball carrier falling forward and having easier time using stiff arm.

IMO Bullrusher and Heavyweight were way UNDER-powered.

This apparent thought process confuses me.

You were wrong, lol.

A huge boost to break block chance and reverse pancake chance was UNDERpowered when the O-line has no counter to it?

Stone wall was a counter to it.

Stone wall was a counter to it.

It was also for both positions

Not everything is discussed in detail before it is announced. Honestly, I'm not sure if that was or wasn't, since I tend to focus on testing the things I can and leave the "cooler" stuff for the other testers. Also, shit, testers are human too and miss some stuff. Finally, I guess Catch has stated several times on live that you'll be getting the chance to swap SAs in the new training system he has in mind for ssn 16...Not ideal for those that picked the "wrong" SA (and no one knows if they did yet or not on any of them), but still something

I'm glad to hear people will have the opportunity to swap their bonus SA's and that wasn't meant as a condemnation of the job testers are doing (which is appreciated) so much as an off handed comment along the lines of, "I'm surprised someone didn't spot that."

That said, 2s is still too long for Relentless Pursuit. Glancing at a couple dozen deep passes today, I don't think I saw any that made it to 2s before the qb released the ball.

RP is one of those things that if we make it active on every play, it'll be over powered. It's something that may or may not see improved value once we get the passing game and coverage mechanics and what not worked on.

With Bull rusher staying full strength and HW only getting a slight nerf maybe it is time to give the line the same ability to pancake as last season?

Would be nice to keep going in the direction of less cakes (O and D) and more legit blocks and broken blocks, imo.

Elusives are as useless as ever running the ball. I know most defensive players are holding vas, and the elusive backs I have vision of our locked and loaded and they still can't do a damn thing.
Fake % definately needs a buff, these elusive backs aren't even servicable in pro leagues...

There's a few things being discussed to help elusive backs out a little including a new pathing update

Stamina is really frustrating. Dots are hitting the wall half way though the 1st quarter. This isn't even a playable sim from the stand point of energy when 2 evenly matched teams play. Really frustrating

Oline pancakes are way way way too low. It really promotes not having strength for a dt.
