I pay for flex, and I'll complain about the new change.

It will cause a downward trend in the total number of people who stick aorund GLB long enough to learn and become LONG TERM players.

Treating the Free players like dirt will just make a pretty decent % of people give up the game because the cost is not worth the enjoyment.

AT LEAST make the initial RP's in a start up account refundable!

That way if a player likes the game, and messed up his first player, he won't have to wait a month to start a crappy 100 pt player.

By recycling the free points combined with the points I had accumulated at the start I could maintain a single 100 FP player at the top level (fully boosted, ceq). You're saying this is too much to ask for, makes me a greedy whining bitch? More to the point, what people are upset by is that what they used to have is being taken away. We might not have done anything to deserve it in the first place but it was given to us. Now it's being taken back. For the record, no, I won't live with how the new reward points work. I'll just walk away. Not that you'll miss me but others will and I certainly won't be alone.

Heres my take.... GOOD RIDDANCE to those who were not spending money. Tired of recruiting players only to find out they are too ()&%@% cheap to spend money on their players and boost them, buy equipment etc. THis is why we have so many disinterested owners who dont even stay active, they have nothing invested. Id rather we had 1/2 the number of players and they all care enough to contribute then all these free loaders. WHINE for me some more about how you are just gonna leave if you cant keep playing for free. No one will miss you, least of all me.

Wish this change had happened many years ago, WTG BORT and Company!

Are you an admin here? If so it is good to know what the admins and owners of this game think of their rank and file customers. You know the ones who are the backbone of the game. How many team owners are you going to have with a quarter of the agents and their players if you anger them and then treat them like morons and "whiny bitches" when they complain or gods forbid question the powers that be.

I have 5 players currently and have in the past bought flex. I am currently playing off the retirement flex from two players that I retired who were in the level 50 range. I have thought for a while that unless something happens to make the game more enjoyable/interesting for me that I would just play out the players and flex I have and when I run out of flex or player that are at a retirement range then I will quit. So far nothing out of all the planned changes coming up really excite me. That along with the comments from Waylon and those that find him so funny along with the silence from any admins regarding his rather unpleasant and unecessary comments, I am all the more convinced that my time here is also nearing an end. I was going to make two knew players to give the archtype mess a try. Now maybe not.

Oh and for the one who felt this change should ahve happened "years ago" GLB has just had its 2nd anniversary so I guess you think it should have started this way, and good luck filling all those teams people have bought when half the agents who don't own teams leave.

Really? The Bonus flex points were a gift, not a right. Certainly I could see flex points being lowered in cost, as th game ramps up and popularity/volume allow lower prices, but expecting to be given free flexies and then retire the player and turn them into more free flexies? Doesn;t make sense.

I don't really have as much of a problem with the change to a rewards system from the free flex. With the number of players I run it really wouldn't help me that much or be noticed if it where gone. It amounts to a boost a season maybe two. My problem is with the attitude that by questioning or complaining about this move, these people are "whiny bitches" or excrement. A move buy the way that will likely cause many of the more casual players to leave and may cause less people to join GLB. These people many of whom are paying customers and if not are certainly part of the community that makes GLB what it is. The attitude of some of the posters, and silence of the admins regarding their comments are what concern me. I have bought my share of flex over the year or so that I have played. I have 5 players now and have retired two that reached decline. I do however not plan to buy any more given the current state of the game and the current climate I see here in these forums.

Yes they were a gift and a reward from bort.What people are upset about is the way it is being done and how they feel it is being aimed towards some .You still get a 100 for events or a reward but we dont know how it is being given as a reward or if it is still given as the same.You have two banks to watch over now and use.What would of been better is if they did the reward points like flex.You can make a player using your RPs and if you screw up you can redo and not lose them.When you retire a player you could get maybe 50% back of the RPs and 25% the next season.With this I think it would of been a much more level adjustment for most.People dont take change real well and most really bad when it just comes fast on them.
Everyone loves free flex on here even the mods,testers and so forth if not they would tell bort to keep it but I highly doubt that any do.

So, how does this actually work? Like, how do we earn them?
