I know life is not fair, but this game should at least try to be.

I agree that trying to equate a VA to a SA is a pretty poor choice since VA's are free, and SA's are well thought out in advance.

I would be all for sacrificing 15 VA points to pick up the SA to level 10. That would of been a better choice by Bort.

Meat,

Are you seriously going to entertain the trolls and 4 year olds that complain just to complain?

It's getting old fast isn't it?

The fact that these changes are coming wasn't something that was hidden. It was right there in the open for anyone who cared to read the game changes discussion or tester forum. Everyone, with the exception of very new agents, who plays this game knows that changes happen frequently and that they are discussed in those two forums. If they don't want to take the time to read them and find out about the coming changes, they have no reason to complain when an agent who does read the forums knows about the changes ahead of time.

It reminds me of the percent AE scam. I bet all the testers and their buddies loaded up on percent AE then said ready. Then Catch made the announcement and said no AE bought after this announcement can be redeemed.

I am pretty sure he posted both on the same day. (tester forum then main forum) So if a tester had a horde of shopping tokens he could of banked a bunch of AE gear, but those are slim odds.

more like those in Bort's ear don't have to worry about it so fuck the rest of the players

you have up to 7 seasons of players that this effects, likely only about 2-3. compared to the long term growth of the game, it's a MAJOR minority.

Then make the changes. Why pick and choose whom the changes affect?

It's dumb. Catch said that even he thinks those VAs should be removed entirely, but Bort is the one who made the call that people with them should get to keep them.

Agree. I'm not even sure when "fairness" because a factor in balancing decisions around here. There's a small number of players that will get major benefit out of this, and a vast majority that won't.

This is equivalent to any other nerf out there.

Here's the fix: In addition to locking these VAs this offseason, phase them out entirely over the next two seasons. This way, the players that are complaining that they're plateaued and can't add to the new SA can retire and the use of the old overpowered VA can go out with them.

Never can plan for anything--think you have it figured out and more changes. Like i have said before I pray for the average guy football fan who joined GLB around season 12. And he better read all the endless info or he will be slow built or exploited to death.

What's the worst is the dozen or so people who know eveything, or think they do, get on here and call him a dumbass when he asks a question to try and get help.

Same could be said for the ones that knew this change was coming. They shouldn't have "built for these VAs" if they had time to prepare. Your argument isn't valid because both parties could have adjusted for the change.

What's wrong is that you're locking the majority of the GLB out of these overpowered VAs and putting anyone, or any team that's recruiting, at a major disadvantage if they don't already have these.

actually this decision only effects Season 4-8 players...since older will die soon and younger never had the option.

Out of that 4 season spread season 6-7-8 got fucked while 4-5 will be over powered. Those are the players who this effects.

Nice try though

Nah they arn't trolls, but I can see both sides defiantly.

Personally I never liked Jack Hammer or zone spec since both were nerfed. And now at lest I wont have to get zone spec on all my 2ndary just to go with the crowd.

The scat back one does hurt though. However, my level 50 hb already had 15 in it before this season started.
