Since D-Linemen can get BB with additional mods, you have only seen terrible DL if you haven't seen over 50%.

I'm a little confused on some of this, particularly the refund tokens.

1) So, I get 25 chances to shop. If I find something I like after 5, I buy it and it says 5 more get deducted, so now I'm at 15. So if I use the other 15 and find something else I like, can I use it to buy a piece of AE for another slot? Or would it only be able to replace the item I bought a few shops ago?

Basically, can I use the 25 tokens to try to replace all my AE pieces with something better or only the % one?

2) Let's say I have a hold block shirt and I choose the 25 tokens. I find a +3 block, +1 protect, but it's cleats. Am I still going to have to pay the 4 BT to convert it to a shirt? You said full cash and BT refund but nothing about the slot. Is there a way to have refund token shopping only bring up items for the slot you are trying to replace?

3) Can I trade in only one piece of % EQ or all of them? Assuming it's all of them, do I get 25 tokens for each one I trade in or 25 total regardless of how many?

4) What about % AE attached to a SA? So if I have +5% break block, +1 tunnel vision, do I get +1 TV and say +1 first step?

5) What about double % pieces, like 5% break block, 5% force fumble? What is the trade in on that? Can I turn one into a +3 strength? Turn them in to 2 SAs? Not sure how that one will work...

Thnx for reading.

Well, +1 to this change, but -10 for the initial addition. Bort changed SA's from +1 per upgrade to +1 every 2 upgrades but left the % bonus +2% per level. To top it off, originally Bort had planned to make the % bonus 2-5% permanently, and the SA bonus +1 permanently. I'm glad things are being thought out and tester more now, but it was pretty obviously from the start of AE that the % bonuses were going to be seriously overpowered.

A little testing goes a long ways.

Perhaps they should focus on stackable VAs that basically accomplish the same thing as stackable % AEs. And by focus on, I mean actually balance instead of stealth nerfing them completely as in the case of Clever Instincts.

Hell, my SS will have over 50% break block by the end of this season, along with over 30% make tackle and 15% avoid fake.

Playoff teams in WL were already stacking as much %AEQ as possible.

No shit. Just not an entire roster built for 1 purpose at. I am talking special teamers only with 75% force fumble. Every single player that is eligible stacking the %. Pretty much every top team stacks bonuses. So now we only have va/% bonuses to stack.

Speaking of is the next step the removal of va's?

So that pretty much confirms it, nobody with %+SA will be selling.

People have it, but honestly, 1 piece at 20% is OPed. They just wanted to limit the damage that was made when AE was implemented.

You can't just say 'I think this is overpowered'. You need to actually SHOW what an "overpowered" build looks like, and more importantly how it performs.

Bort won't touch VAs. They're his baby.

Nevermind the fact that you can stack some bonuses to ~100% alone via VAs.

Even non-playoff teams were often stacking at least 2 and often 3 pieces.

Click Leagues, Click World League.

Click on Vahalla, Chocolate Blaze, or MOD.

Watch a game versus another 'normal' lesser known WL team...

Profit.

Yeah, ohnoes. Now my combo back doesn't get to be 73% break tackle, he gets to be +5 spin and 30% break tackle. Still pretty sure 3 pieces of aeq owns, you just gotta be smart about it

That it does, and balancing the VA's, foremost by limiting the OP'd ones should be the next step in balancing the sim imo. Although I disagree on Clever, and the whole elusive backs are useless theories.
