The latter. Agility has an effect on how many ticks it takes you to reach your top-end speed, but for acceleration in GLB in actuality you're better off having higher top-end speed than higher agility.

how many power backs to do see in rl run as fast as a speedy WR (or faster given the current proposed ALGs)? none. maybe AP, but he is a fumbler, so unless you want to give up carrying...

inb4dotball/=rl (but i think thats what they are trying to push towards... just sayin)

its not about what you want, but what makes sense. yeah speed would be nice, but so would strength on an elusive back. when you think of a power back, speed is not the first thing that should come to mind.

how many RBs do you see that are as slow as an O/D Lineman, yet are still successful?

OL shouldnt get ALGs on speed, imo.

maybe, and this is a new thought, each position could have 3 sets of attributes. majors, minors, and... even more minor. a rough idea, i'll admit, but OL should not get .33 speed every lvl up. (which is more than the current PB gets) if there were a way to thin out the minors of some of the positions, but still give ALGs to attributes while somewhat important, are not as important as some of the other minors (like speed for a power back can be a minor and jumping can be an even more minor).

maybe 2 points total for major, 1 point for minors, .5 for whatever you wanna call it.
for a PB it would look like:

HB Power
5'11" - 6'4", 210-260 Lbs
Major Agility Carrying Confidence Strength (+.5)
Minor Speed Stamina Vision (+.33)
....X....Jumping Blocking (+.25)
Bonus SA's - Lower Shoulder, Power Thru
Penalty SA's - First Step, Spin

just a thought... will probably be shot down.

i just meant in general, in the nfl. even nfl "powerbacks" have alot of speed, or at least more than other positions that are larger.

probably about as fast as the fastest receiving TEs, but i think .33 is probably a fair negotiation (not sure if i would like to see PBs get .4, i think thats maybe pushing it.). so catch, if you read this (im pretty sure youre online right now) if you wanna look into this and adjust accordingly, or feel free to use my raw idea, i personally think its pretty fancy, but i wont be hurt if you dont think so. it is pretty rough after all. i spent all of 30 seconds on it.

I agree with this sentiment, speed major on a DT is ridiculous.

he wont use your idea. they made every position out of the same mold for a reason.

what needs to happen is in the OP - switch agility and speed.

Also the difference between majors and minors have been watered down so far in this new system that is there really a point?

On all of the WRs you get .4 on your major and .33 on your minor.

The majors need to be .67 to .5 and the minors need to be .33 to .2 imo.
