Not that it matters, but why is that a loss for us and not a loss for them? Didn't they refuse a scrimmage from us as well?

And didn't they lose to Williamsport and Lincoln? They're listed at 6-1. Again, not that it matters much.

OK, one more thing. 7 games later we're in the second round. How many more games to round 3?

I don't know for sure, but my guess would be that it was a loss for HHW because, according to the rules, the higher seeded team sent the challenge. Once the initial challenge was rejected, the game was forfeited, even though additional challenges were sent. But again, that's just my guess.

Also, from what I understand, it is now single elimination. The "pool" round was just a preliminary to get the top 32 set, similar to how sports events, such as hockey, are contested in Olympic play.

Like you said, at this point, it doesn't matter much... A little odd that my team was the one to play the Playmakers in the round of 32, though. According to my count, 11 of the games have already been played, with 3 more scheduled for the 14th. The Monmouth/D-League game looks to be scheduled for the 15th, meaning the Alpine/Angola game is the only one to not be scheduled... Earlier in the thread, Alpine stated that they sent a challenge to Angola (Even though Angola should have sent, due to being the lower seed). Dunno what the call will be there.

I do know the Buffalo/Emmaus game is scheduled for 9/17 at 14:00 Server Time.

Looks that way, even running the game now would make the wait way to long..they haven't replied means you should get auto win.

Do we need official word from sunshineduck or something? I don't get how that works.


Also, sunshine duck or someone needs to put this in bracket form as it's hard to tell who you're supposed to play in the 2nd/3rd round as is

Ok. So i guess we play guadalcanal and the winner of that game plays singapore marauders. I really wish the tournament guys would've organized this thing a big better or kept tabs on it more

Of course, I'm not the tournament director or anything, so I could be wrong on something, but based on scheduled scrims and posted final scores, this should be accurate.

Shockers/ Thunder could be scheduled and the PaDong/Sofia winner should be able to challenge the Hellas/Three Kingdom winner, as those games both sim tonight at 21:00.

The only first rounder to be unscheduled is the Angola/Alpine game.

Assuming they give Alpine the win there, that would be correct... Dunno why they wouldn't, if Angola never sent a challenge, but again, I'm not the director.

tbh, Bort should implement some sort of note that goes along with the challenge. I never know if a challenge is for a tourney and if so, what tourney.
