Holy crap! I went WAAYYY too long without giving you guys another update
Real Life/Offseason/Getting used to being a srsmod all kinda put this stuff on the back burner, and just today I realized how long it's been since I've posted one.
So, I want to apologize to you all for keeping you waiting, and you waited oh so patiently.
Regardless, it's the next season now, which means the next set of ideas for the game. So here we go.
Things currently being worked on:
► Bort has been working with some scrambling code, basically letting the QBs use the same pathfinding as HBs on super-elusive. I think it's looking pretty good.

Both of those games all the way through using scrambling QBs, so take a look.
► Bort is looking into why the MVP race isn't working in the World League.

► "Tagging" players. Dealing with this:

What if each player build had some sort of "tendencies" or "reputation" type thing? Like...everyone knows the player is a power back, or is a really strong blocker, etc. Players could be auto tagged as a type just by their builds and skill ratios, assuming we spent enough time to map out the different types. I.E. a QB who has twice as much speed as strength or throwing would be a "rusher" or a HB who has 30% more strength than speed would be a "power back" etc.
Random thought, might be hard to implement.
We're talking about and hashing out some of the logistical stuff right now, as well as additional ideas and all that jazz.
► Talk about changing the repeat play penalty. With more plays to choose from, we feel like you could lower the number of plays it takes to kick in, as well as some additional ideas to have the RPP affected by player coaches post-retirement.

►Speaking of coaches, there's a lot of brainstorming going on for different skills/attributes/etc. for coaches. Nothing is even close to set in stone yet, I'll let you know if/when we have anything concrete.
► Looking at making a few changes to pursuit pathing as well, especially from a long distance.
► Some ideas are being thrown around to possibly improve the system for AEQ. Lots of major ideas being thrown around, but the only two things that Bort has mentioned are the ability to "re-slot" a piece (i.e. change it from a shoe to a shirt) and being able to recolor a piece (Pink Visor ftw). Otherwise I get the feeling that he's happy with it as it is.
List of small things I've seen mentioned in passing but cannot confirm how close they are or that they are even actually being worked on.
