Bort, you shuffled 6,144 teams last season. Now over a hundred will move up every season, and get one pick? And you give NEW TEAMS 3? And were smart enough to consider demotion for the Pros to have a list of 8, precisely as I suggested in the OP? This isn't right, and there are only 2 days left.
I don't think it would be fair to allow the demoting teams a complete choice while promotion uncapped are left with only 1. However,
1) It's only an idea at this point, not a certainty
2) Considering it'd only be for 8/16 teams, it should be easy to handle through support instead of requiring a change to UI/programming
3) It's next seasons demotions which are being discussed, giving ~50 days to figure out how to do it
