Create a team, you get to pick your top 3 regions.
Promote from minors... you get to pick top 1?


A ton of new owners can't even name all the regions, but Uncapped owners probably have connections in or know quite a bit about the regions. We deserve more flexibility after being stripped from our regions last season.


I propose each team can select preferred region slots 1-8 (don't have to fill all 8 in).


1) Do AA-Pro promotions/relegations
2) Query # of open AA slots
3) Rank that # of Minor Uncapped teams by standard tiebreaking procedures
4) Fill holes in AA in order of ranked teams, giving each team their highest preferred region still available
** Teams with no preferred region selected (or with all of their selections full) can be put into a random league, or skipped and handled at the bottom of the list because they didn't care anyway



It kinda sucks, knowing we'll promote to AA, and having it basically be a crapshoot if we get the ONE REGION I get to select, and just cross our fingers from there...



This system wouldn't take long to implement I imagine, and would allow teams to have more say in where they land; and if they don't want to bother ranking all 8 regions, they don't have to! If you want to pick 3, pick 3, etc.

This man has a keen sense for obvious and makes too many good points. This post will get lost.

No its not. Anything suggested by octowned. I changed my mind, this suggestion would simply lead to many teams simply going to the same area. Certain regions are already viewed as the "best" or "better" leagues and I feel that those regions would be flooded. Too much congestation.
