Not to hijack this, but offensive lineman need a stat column that show how many sacks they have given up.

when will people fucking realize, that it can not be calculated. What if a guy runs by him but he was blocking another guy? they couldnt calculate that.

If that's the case, then late hits should be a penalty and I don't know if we want to start seeing plays come back because a stupid DE hit your dot late when it happens ALL THE TIME. If late hits should count against the QB, they should also count against the D like in real life.

Big fan of this idea. I get some jollies off watching QBs get planted after the pass is thrown. Makes the pass completion a little easier to swallow if you think your defenders knocked a dent in the QB's morale.

Yeah, not a penalty by the SS but the MLB should get ejected for that intentional malicious hit. He CRACKS the QB WELL after the SS hits him. However if you want it to be more real the QB should have fell after the first hit....

QB is the most pressure demanding position in football, you have to be cool calm and collected and being rattled is a part of the game... they should have multiple ways to get demoralized because if you cant take it get outta there....kickers too

Agree with this post. Currently, QBs with an average OL are given all day to throw. Even when hurried, they tend to make throws into tough coverage, without missing a beat.

I like the idea of the "throwing off balance", getting his as you throw, throwing ducks, etc. Would need to be in the pbp, though.

QB1 hit while throwing by DE3 (Incomplete - Wobbly Pass)

Isn't the problem with this idea that the o-line stops blocking (or moving, for that matter) the second the ball is thrown while the defenders continue for a few ticks? If the o-line continued to block, and the QB got hit after he threw, I'd completely agree that it should have a measurable effect, but with the current blocking coding I think it would be a problem.

Then let's fix the blocking coding


EVERYTHING in the sim needs to be swept through, and fixed if need be.
