The forums are a total mess...

Something can be done before the new season comes... I hope!

People will moan because they crave the attention that the forums give them. The markeplace was a great idea and forums should have closed down immediately, it's much easier to search the marketplace for what you want.

It could take even less time to find good players if they could find teams in a similar manner.

Also, a team I just signed with recently signed six OTs when they wanted 2...the automatic have/need setting would prevent that headache if you can't get to a computer in time to retract all the outstanding offers.

That's exactly what I was thinking of when I made this.

The one thing, after reading the announcement, that I'd like to add to this, is with the additions to the marketplace, in the "Team Needs" section that is coming, perhaps include a 'drop down' menu that allows you select the # on the depth chart that individual will be playing, specifically useful for positions like RB, WR, & CB.

Noted. Added it to the description box in the OP since I think the additional menu might take up a lot of space if you had to have several of them.
