How about Placekick Holder? Or Long Snapper that can be given to OL only, maybe a DL.

Bonus to the kicker. Would encourage only players that can spend points to be placed at holder, and keep those that logically wouldn't be holders from doing it.

What bonus would it give that isn't given already?

"Box Out"

A receiver is given a bonus to either catching, jumping OR a 3% chance per level to "box out" (for the purpose of the dots, push off a defender or shield off a defender from a PD) and it should work only if a defender is draped on a receiver and when the ball is in the air.

A push off would look like the defending dot was forced still for a tick or two meanwhile the receiver makes a play on the ball.

A defender could either be prevented from a pass deflection or have the receiver's anti-PD roll increased.

High strength and vision would be required for a receiver to make this effective.

Draped on a receiver could be Man Coverage or the bonus could be applied at anytime, such as when two dots meet when the receiver is catching.

anticipate the snap (ATS) for OLINE

getting out of stance the second the ball is snapped. increase % of agility and speed and 1% chance of holding block. combats, jump the snap. no requirements, but low vision produces a high offsides %. high vision still produces offsides, just at a lower %.

higher levels increase agility, speed %s and chance of holding block. despite high vision, more levels of the VA ATS produce higher chance of offsides %.

MR. October (or better name needed) for general

Player recieves a slight bonus(.5) % to first primary attribute(based on archtype), based on # of playoff games played. for follwing playoff games/championship games only. not retroactive. IE 4 playoffs games, 4 times .5%

higher levels more attributes. IE power back. stregnth first, carrying second, and so on down the totum pole. wont be popular past 5 or so. but can make playoff games closer.

VA: National fan favorite
effect +2 max morale per point of VA
example ... you start with 100 morale and have a team bonus of 6 so you have 106 to start. Without this VA if you score a TD your still at 106. but add 2 points to this VA and you will increase to 110 morale after the TD

note:this VA will not change your starting morale, just your maximim

Press Coverage (Defense Only)
Each level gives a +3% chance to knock the WR off their route vector by +1 degree, but a +1% chance for the DB to "lose a step." Requires 60 strength. Works only in man coverage.

So the home team in the playoff has

1) better record
2) Chance to pump hometown hero up to get + to confidence and stamina
3) Free Nachos

Seems like you guys have gone through a lot of trouble to stack the deck in their favor. There needs to be a counterplay to this for teams.

VA - Road Warrior. This player loves to hit the road and play in enemy territory. Each level of Road Warrior gives your player +1% to Stamina +1% To Confidence.

Maybe your dot has an ugly wife or stupid kids or a drug problem with hometown drug dealers who hang around his house too late on Saturday nights and your dot plays better on the road. Not a joke thread, this needs to happen

Don't mind this, but I'd say you can't use it along with Hometown Hero. Once you pick one of them the other disappears.

Perfectionist (QB's) - each level gives the QB a 1% chance to make the perfect throw (highest pass quality roll) on a play

Cheater - Your player cheats. Each level gives your cheating player +1% on top of every action roll. However if your players cheating fails to give him the advantage, every failed action roll results in a +5% energy and morale hit.

Mad Dog - This player gets PISSED when things don't go his way. Each level gives your player a +1% bonus to strength and stamina for two plays following a failed play by that player (missed tackle, pancaked, incomplete pass)

Chilled Out - Your player never gets mad, or happy...dude is just chilled. Every level reduces the amount of Morale lost per play by your player by 1%.

Ok, so why is it there are soo many break block bonuses to D-Line, and only one to the O-line. As well as in the suggested VA's, there are only more ideas for D-Line?

O-Line has No VA's comparable to the D-Line that can be on all the time

D-Line has Bull Rusher, Technique man, Pocket Crasher, Heavyweight (obviously TM and PC have to be certain styles).

O-Line has...... Goal Line blocker, useful for a whole 5 yards... nothing that is always on like those listed above.

There need's to be a balance in the VA's and right now this is horribly unbalanced.

--Bullrusher: Bonus to break block %
--Technique man: Bonus to break block % (if evasive)
--Heavyweight: Bonus to rev-cake
--Pocket Crasher: Bonus to push back (if power)

So my suggestions
Strong Roots - Legs are so strong they are hard to push back - bonus to hold block % if on Pass focus
Cannon Ball - Shoots of the line like a cannon ball, bonus to pancake on running plays if on Run Focus
Sound Footwork - Great footwork to always stay in front of his man, bonus to hold block % based off agility (similar to bull rusher)

That would even the score with the D-Line

VA Slot Jammer

Prequisite - 65 vision

This corner was born to cash the slots. For each level of Slot Jammer this player receives a +3% bonus to the strength of Swat Ball and Sticky Hands special abilities and a 1% bonus to vision, when in man to man coverage of a receiver running a route. Ability applies only when playing the CB3 position.
