QB Spike: I'm sure this is probably already brewing in Borts head but I figured I might as well mention it anyways. Since we now have timeouts and QB Kneels it seems only fitting to implement a QB spike in the offensive AI. Im sure they would of been quite usefull when you waste your timeouts.
AI setting for game tempo: Have you ever watched your PbP wishing your team would line up at a 20 second pace instead of 40? How about in closing minutes where you rather have your offense line up and snap the ball under 10 seconds?
My suggestion is to have the option to set a certain game tempo into your AI. I think 3 settings would do.
Slow: The full 40 seconds it takes to line up when you want those long slow drives, perhaps to keep the opposing juggernaut of an offense off the field.
Normal: I hate using the word normal since it can vary but either way I'd say this option would be to line up and snap it at a 20 second rate when you want to heighten the pace yet still take a bit of time off the clock.
Fast: Basically lining up and snapping within 10 seconds in those crucial moments where you are short on time or starting to let the game slip away.
Now to keep the settings from being abused such as using the fast setting throughout the entire game, maybe create an increase/decrease chance of penalties that can occur, for example having the fast setting more susceptible to false starts while a slower pace decreases the chance of a false start.
Another penalty(well not a penalty) is a certain amount of stamina used based which tempo you use. Obviously a "fast" pace would drain your stamina faster since you are rushing to the line. It could add a little spice to stamina, making depth more important.(Credit to Saintedix)
Tempo can work well by implementing it inside the input option where you can set the pace of play along side Time remaining in quarter and Score Difference
New spot on the ensuing kick of a safety: I probably would of never noticed this if it weren't for our team scoring on a safety then seeing their kicker booting a 77 yard kickoff for a touchback on a free kick. Needless to say it caught my attention.
I'm not one to beg for GLB to mirror the NFL, but since Bort has this based on American football I can only assume he wanted an NFL feel to the game since we kick off from the 30 yard line. So my question and suggestion would be.....why are we kicking the "free kick" from the 30 yard line instead of the 20 where a free kick is placed?

The benefit of a safety(besides 2 free pts.) is the possiblity of having great field position on a free kick in which the kicking teams normally elects to punt. The proper spotting of a free kick needs to be implemented.
Free Kick: Unlike the kickoff, a kicking tee may not be used (NFL only, college kickers have the option of using a tee on the safety kick); however, punts are allowed, unlike on kickoffs. A punt is the most commonly chosen option, whereas a drop kick is virtually unheard-of in modern football.(credit wiki)
Clock issues on kickoffs: Clock on kickoffs shouldn't start until someone touches the ball. In NO LEVEL of football does the clock run on a kickoff prior to being touched. Another basic rule that is neglected.(Credit to Saintedix)
Basically stating that it shouldn't be a normal kickoff were we boot it close to 80 yards. I'm sure this will get sorted out with a "Bort-justments"
Elective Safeties: I don't want to get into this too much since it's faaaar away as well as low on the priority list, but one day I think we will get botched snaps implemented. It's quite rare but there are times where an elective safety can be the best option, espeically if you are pinned on your 1 yd line where you risk a botched punt or giving the opposing team excellent field position.
That is all. What say you?
