I'll take credit for pushing the changes, just saying they aren't my idea. Most things that are changed in this game believe it or not come from a suggestion made by a user at some point in time. I'm not deflecting blame, but people try and make it seem like these changes are all my doing when that simply isn't the case. I will say they are GLB's doing and I am most certainly a part of GLB and I'm more than happy to take the brunt of it to move the game forward in a positive direction.
The thing I don't see is how is removing mentor a positive thing? The way I see it now is, the game has been nerfed to the point that without 2 mentors your cb's/lb'ers can't even function. Is it being removed bc you needed it to even compete....??
Now that it is getting removed how much work is going to go into the passing game. Currently you need 100+ vision cb's to hold a great passing team to 60%, so moving forward will you need 80+ vis to hold a team to 95%??? Seems to me it was a positive thing for GLB from the POV that it added a tremendous strategic element to the game for filling out the 55 man roster.I guess what I am saying is, having this va was a good thing in the sense we needed to strategically place our backups to be special teamers/mentors and try to field a competitive team (55 man roster) while sacrificing depth across the board to make room for the mentors. And then find a way to replace them without having decline/chemistry kill us
If you guys want to remove things that you must have to compete, lets start a list.
Great coordinator
BB%/shed block/first step on a de
bt%/ on a running back
speed agility vision on a line backer
STR/block /agility/ conf /hold block on an olineman
agility str for a dt
speed agility vision jump for a cb
So now that mentor is likely going to be phased out... I ask you, what next ?? Lower roster limit to 50, and then bring in 5 coaches???? So now we gotta somehow pay more $$$ to essentially get coaches, which were "mentors" in the old system? maybe a new feature or 2? Which all could be added via va's/mentors. It looks to me like - -removing mentor is the first step in charging the user base more $$$ to field a competitive team, and essentially charging us for va's that were free up until this point
