PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSE
WR Lion Johnson, Hawaiian Tropics. In what I'd consider a mild upset Johnson provided the margin of victory with under five minute in the 4th quarter by catching a TD pass for 56.5 yards to give the Tropics a big 21-14 win over the Austin Longhorns. Lion finshed the game with three catches for 80 yards and a TD.

DEFENSE
CB Kwaz "PrimeTime" Sanders, Sin City Dream Team. Sanders helped lift the Dream Team to a 26-9 win over Hotties Pride. Kwaz recored three tackles, allowed two of four passes thrown his way, deflected four balls, and got a pick on the evening.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Retruner/RB Kilo Romeo, Werewolves of Dublin. Romeo notched a KR to start the game and it helped propel the Werewolves to a 31-19 win over the Gotham City Rogues. Kilo carried the ball two times for 13 yards in the game but his special team play was big in this one with four KR for 167 yards (41.8 average) and a TD.

The Bus Drivers vs. B. O. S. S. - Could be a good one but B.O.S.S. will pull away in the 2nd half...38-13.

Werewolves of Dublin vs. DIABLOW DOTS - Both will want to run but Dublin's age may show in the one...45-23.

San Onofre Isotopes vs. Sin City Dream Team - SOI continue to roll although SCDT will be more than a speed bump...38-17.

Gotham City Rogues vs. Running Gag - GCR struggled against an all rushing team previously and will do so once again...150-3.

Hawaiian Tropics vs. YOU'RE DEAD TO ME - Tropics coming off a big win but TO ME gets that ground game going to churn out the W...34-14.

Detroit Muscle vs. Off In The Bathtub (A.D.D) - Muscle were humbled last week but should be able to break out the whipping stick here...50-0.

Hotties Pride vs. Twin Peaks - Even with Rube recovering from surgery the Peaks should still win big here...50-0.

Boys and girls you read the below right as we edge near the mid-way point of the season. While the playoffs seem to be shaping up on both sides to come down to the final weeks we once again had some crazy routes as nine games were decided by 50+ points. The average would be half the games played weekly in that regard but I don't think many of us are shocked with the current state of Casual Pro.

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSE
QB Favor Me and Give Me Riches, Destroy My Enemies, San Onofre Isotopes. In a win against the Sin City Dream Team Detroy My Enimies had a stellar outing in the 34-10 win. While the QB threw three picks in the game the dot ripped the Dream Team D up throwing for nearly 500 yards (497) and three TD passes.

DEFENSE
CB CB B.O.S.S. CB3, B.O.S.S. CB3 made a big splash in the 30-20 win over The Bus Drivers. The CB only allowed three of seven passes thrown his way, made four takles, and defended four passes in a solid effort in aiding the B.O.S.S. D to play well in getting the win.

SPECIAL TEAMS
K VC Sicily, Jr., Nicaragua Chupacabras. In a hotly contested 16-13 win over The Underground Superstars it was Sicily who provided the offensive spark connecting on all three of his FG points and his lone extra point to score 10 of the 16 Chupacabras points.

Done building dots for several seasons...reap it GLB. Mess with my team name I mess with your money (well, my money).

We're at the halfway mark of the season and we got a lot of big games coming up to determine playoff spots and seedings. We all knew several teams were done before starting but there's a lot of action still to be played out before we hit the playoffs. Let's take a look where we've gone and where we're heading. We did hit the high mark with 10 games decided by 50+ points so I may have to change up the rules for players of the week as we move

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSE
WR tl-pôr-tshn, -pr- a hypothetical mode, Destroy My Enemies, San Onofre Isotopes. The Isotopes found themselves on the ropes in 4th quarter in the 28-24 win over Twin Peaks. My Enemies came through with the game winning 62.5 yard TD reception with under a minute thirty left in the game. tl-pôr-tshn finished the night at three catches for 91 yards and the TD.

DEFENSE
LB Erudite Verser, San Onofre Isotopes. Verser was all over on D in helping SOI to get the come from behind over a feisty Twin Peaks team by the score of 28-24. Erudite racked up nine tackles in the game with a TFL and a PD to boot.

SPECIAL TEAMS
K Running Kicker, Running Gag. In a surprise the Gag were tested by Werewolves winning 24-14. RK knocked down all three of his PATs and also kicked a FG to help spur Running onto victory.

1. San Onofre Isotopes (8-0) - Control their own destiny but have some tough games coming down the home stretch.
2. Running Gag (7-1) - Had the first loss since coming back to CP and I don't think this is a here - take the gold like last season.
3. DIABLOW DOTS (7-1) - Dropped early game to B.O.S.S. with several tough games to close.
4. YOU'RE DEAD TO ME (7-1) - Has some hard games left so it may be tough for them to stay in the top four.
5. B. O. S. S. (6-2) - Playing much better than last season and a favorable 2nd half schedule.
6. Hawaiian Tropics (5-3) - Have been the surprise season so far but will be tested with five to six possible playoff teams left on the schedule.
7. Austin Longhorns (5-3) - The losses have been fairly close but could be in a battle for a playoff spot at the end of the day.
8. Twin Peaks (5-3) - Solid 2nd half schedule that will help drive them up some seeds to close the season.
9. The Bus Drivers (4-4) - Will go 8-8 unless they get an upset or two.
10. Detroit Muscle (4-4) - It's midnight Cinderella and the chem isn't that bad now.
11. Werewolves of Dublin (4-4) - A bit old but certainly not a team to look past but I don't see them getting in the playoffs.
12. Sin City Dream Team (3-5) - A dark horse but they could put five together possibly and they'll need to as the final three are tough outs.

6. Dexter's Dark Passengers (5-3) - Three of the top four already played so a light 2nd half will have this team in the playoffs.
7. The LEGION'S Alpha Quadrant (4-4) - This week is huge but they should do well in the 2nd half of the season.
8. Heisenberg Full Measures (4-4) - Don't have an easy schedule to close so they'll need to win against those below them or tied in the standings.
9. Camelot Red Knights (3-5) - They very well could go 7-1 to close out the season.
10. The Underground Superstars (3-5) - They've been held scoreless four times on the season and still have HOOD/Dragons left to play. Playoffs may be too much to ask here.
11. Wonkas' Candy Corps (3-5) - Need some help and probably need to win some they normally wouldn't but still around.
