What is considered a Short vs. Medium vs. Long pass for tactics?

0-7 = short
7-15 = medium
15+ = long

(I should probably add this one too, haha)

Is a 7 yard pass considered short or medium? Is a 15 yard pass considered medium or long?

Sorry to be a nit here, just trying to get the facts.

It's impossible to throw a 7 yard pass in real life. Any pass would have to be at least .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 off. So there doesn't have to be any distinction for a 7 yard pass.

As though we were concerned about that level of accuracy. Someone needs to learn about abstraction.

I thought I saw it somewhere but I can't find it now.

What is the penalty for playing a player out of position? Such as putting a FS at the CB spot.

Never mind, I found it.

Could someone tell me how much a center would be penalized for say playing guard? For example I have a level 9 Center and a Level 6 Guard. Will the level 9 center be better at guard even with the penalty?

The O-line has little if any penalty for any switches. The level 9 Center will play much better than a lvl 6 Guard.

Well, I'd like to know, If i'm trading for an inactive player, will be cheaper to bring him????

Example, I want a inactive level 10 DE, so if he was an active player It would cost 250000, but he's inactive, So the cost would be 150000, is this right??

No, inactive players aren't cheaper.

I am so confused about min/max energy requirements. The recommended levels are 35/65, I have been running at 70/80 and still my backups play more than the starters even if the backup"s stamina is less. What am I doing wrong?

Also we lost 13-6 yesterday and I had the run/pass at 65/35 and we had 24 running plays and 31 passing plays. The auto adjust was at 5 out of a possible 100. The HB/FB/QB run percentages were as follows 88/10/2 and the HBs had 14 carries while the FBs had 10 carries. What up with that?
