When did the season officially start? I have a number of friends who are going to be free agents soon(day 16 for example). Are they real time days or SIM days? I need to know if it is worth trading for them still or just waiting to pick them up.

The season started yesterday. Sim days = real days for all intents and purposes. If you wait to pick them up, half the regular season will be over.

Added special situations where your tactics will be overrode regardless (even if autoadjust is off)

This should answer alot of peoples quesions.

I'm GMing a team and can't seem to be able to release any of the players. I've got a plethora of Ks and way too many CPU players, but when I follow the directions here, I don't see a release player link or anything.

Your owner didn't give you the cut players option.

What is the penalty for playing a player out of position.

For example:

If I have a LVL 4 OC, what would the penalty be for playing him as a backup OG?

How about a FS being a 4th CB?

Honestly, I've done both and haven't seen any noticeable drop-off. So if it helps with people getting more touches, go for it.

I have a question about inactive players- Does their player play still or are they benched for the game. I need to know so i can make a good depth chart going into a game.

They still play.

Due to a lot of people asking this question, I added question 12:

"12. What happens if the player is inactive, can I still play him?"

What is considered a Short vs. Medium vs. Long pass for tactics?

0-7 = short
7-15 = medium
15+ = long
