I'll take so much bad said about 'em and then I get into momma bear mode.

You make it sound like Bort put a gun to your head and forced you to this level. You could have requested a move down to AAA, still got your ass kicked 90 % of the time and let an elite team really make this the best 24 in PRO in a very long time. I don't know. I find it selfish but different strokes for different folks I guess. Not sure what you are learning when losing a game 200 to 0. And BTW nobody is playing just the pass against you. Nobody was looking at your team at all. Sorry brotha but that's just the truth and you should have known it before the season began.

It will be sad next year to see Pro maybe dip next year. Hopefully we have enough teams left to make it enjoyable like this season.

I couldn't... maybe the team owner could? I mean we won the right to that spot so we weren't running to request a lower level asap. I don't remember the conversation even coming up about 'demoting'. We did talk about the team and how we thought we might struggle. Hindsight is always 20/20. Had we 100% known then what we know now but only vaguely suspected at the time I am sure we would have requested a different league.
As for what we're learning, I don't wanna give a 10 page dissertation but we, for sure, are learning. The DC is learning. I am learning. We've been doing slightly better with the same crappy dots so we're figuring stuff out. But, without the right dots we're not fooling ourselves. We won't win a game this season. Harsh but truth.
And what good would it be to just recycle NOW... fill with CPU dots and not give a shit? Do you think it'd be better? C'mon bro. It is what it is. Can't reset the past. We'll ride it out... do our best... take our lumps... and learn everything we can. Then we should be better next run.
I suppose the alternative is to just quit the game entirely... give up and remove several dot builders and another team owner or two from the game. I also don't think that's a good idea. No. Just accept things as they are. Hell... maybe even Bort learned something! (like don't put crappy teams in top leagues no matter how good they played the season before!)

The main benefit of this poll being you aren't multi-counting people with multis since we could police by username, whereas the GLB official polling software will be weighted by multi-accounts.

Takeaways:
1. 50% of people preferred a 12tm "top tier" and 50% of people preferred a 24tm "top tier"
2. 64% of people polled prefer a 6/12 team playoff system (two bye weeks) to a 8/12 team playoff system (current)
3. It wasn't a part of the official poll, but per the thread it does seem the whole userbase would prefer the keeping of the league name "World League" compared to "Champions League"

Your game your choice how to move forward. I appreciate all you do and hope this was helpful. Other ideas like a 16tm WL were thrown out, though it wasn't a part of the poll so I'm not sure how most feel about that. If you want the data weighted by #teams owned or #dots, just let me know.

here's my idea......

one NEW league of 12 teams, up for bid for 10 seasons. each owner/co-owner can bid on ONE team. if you fail to field a team, you lose the team and it goes back up for auction. no demotions, no promotions. at the end of ten seasons, they go back up for bid. if you want an elitist league, then let them pay for it.
