It could be done but there would need to be limits on how many you can do per person/account... otherwise so many level 79 dots would get built that, once again, it would wreck the league structures, team building (stadium, ect, ect.) and other things as well that are built into the dot building time beyond simply the dot building itself. Kinda like Freedots maybe? You get 2 'instant dot' slots to use if wanted/needed? But Larry's pretty spot on in that nobody in upper management seems inclined to do anything/make any new changes.

Changing dot building would require everything else to be re-written and/or re-programmed to match up. Might as well just build a new game with everything asked for instead. Hence the 'GLB3' thing.

I'm not advocating to change how dots are build. Keep the same, but do it in a VPB, only difference is instead of almost a year to build a pro dot, you do it in a couple minutes.

but why is that? has an answer been given? or maybe their reason is it just not worth it?

From the GBL brain trust? Nada. Doubt they're even remotely interested in addressing the question. But... if they did... I would surmise from past experiences with them on similar situations that they would limit the # of 'instant dots' an agent could make. Mostly because of 2 reasons (again, IMO).
#1 is money. To not only build 55 dots, AND a team, from scratch...along with team renewals, stadium upgrades, scrims, custom EQ, ect, ect... would be lost to them... UNLESS, unless they raised the cost of everything to cover the lost revenue. It likely wouldn't be much, but it would be something. And there's plenty that would pay buuutttttt....
#2, they would have to nearly reprogram everything as it currently works. The pace of dot building (as it is now) is part and parcel to the pace of Team building, the length of seasons, off time, BT accumulation, SP accumulation, Stadium building... probably even more that I don't remember right now. But it's all tied together as it is and instant dots... or too many of them... would make a mess of leagues and stuff. Also, not sure how it would work with Freedots either... and if it would suddenly count against supply/demand of dot positions. Imagine it's already hard to build a Freedot HB... what if someone built 50 instant HB's? Unlikely but still... it can't be just a 'ehhhh... don't worry about it' situation either. I can imagine more than a few bugs and issues with just dropping instant dots into the game without thought.
All that said... it's really about .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000009% likely to even get thought about by Warrior Games so....

Besides what you mentioned about dot building being tied to all that other stuff cost doesn't have to be a issue, make it the same cost as if you were building thru the ranks but you just instant dot it, I would pay the same price for a instant dot as if i could.

I think a price cut on all flex would solve a chunk of issues. It's pretty expensive to get a lvl79 HB with 3 boosts a season (900 flex a month) plus custom eq. Then you'll want about 3 other players too. You're looking at around $25 a month for a dead game...

Number 2 simply isn't true. On the test server they regularly change dot builds to fit whatever need is wanted.

I could quibble with you on point #2, but it's a moot point anyway, because...

There is only 1 possible solution I see to all of your concerns:

Pony up the money and buy GLB from WG/Bort, then hire a coding team to implement your changes, hoping you don't lose what is left of the user base in the process so you can recoup your costs by 2050.

Until that happens, all of these (mostly repetitive for years) ideas, while intriguing for those who want to wish it into being, is fun to read but ultimately pointless.

That said, I'm just happy to have a few posts to read when I log in a few times a week, so carry on!

Sony buys lots of such games, runs them all on the same game service.

speaking of cheap... I just bought 3 casual teams for 400 flex each, just so I could unlock a free HB

then I sold those 3 teams back, for a refund of 175 each

675 flex for a free HB...
