Obviously no one here. I like to watch players jump not a moving ball getting bigger and smaller. How can you tell when a circle spins anyways? I think I’m going to go call a play action pas out of the shotgun spread now.

I could out coach you here and it would be so so very easy. You’re just a mouth though, never done anything other than troll the forums and run users off. I feel bad for you, such a miserable person.

I would if there was really something (graphic wise) to care about in either game. GLB original sure leaves a lot to be desired but it's basic enough to see most of what's going on. GLB2's graphics look like the very 1st TECHMO Bowl game and act even worse. Does anybody ever fall down face first or backwards? It's always on their sides as if they were going to take a nap. Anyways... TBH, graphics take up valuable space for bettering the game. Personally I would've been plenty happy with a simple written play by play describing things as they happened. Still, as long as you can SEE what your AI's are doing and you defensive setups are doing, I don't need to see if the player is 5 foot 6 or 6 foot 5, what bling he's wearing, or what his number is.

What's the #1 problem with both games though? I believe it's lack of users. What is a text play by play or even moving balls and green rectangle going to do to hook new mainstream type players? I believe a game that at least looks like football does matter. The niche players have come and went.

Well, if you were to ask me if I want to see players that look even better than anything Madden has... see actual stiff arms and spin moves and TD dances and trash talking... sure. Would be awesome... to watch. As far as what I need as a OC, DC, or STC to see that what I'm doing actually shows correctly, of the two games, I hate to say but GLB original's visuals work better for me. Sure, it's an unappetizing visual... but I can see that the plays, formations, players, actions, ect, ect... I can see them doing what I want them to do and I can see that better with the overhead visual of GLB than I can with the sideways visuals of GLB2.

As for that "#1 problem", that's not the game's fault... nor the difference in graphics... it's totally Warrior Games fault for dividing it's user base between two games of the exact same nature (meaning both are football sim games). You like GLB2... I like GLB1. And our opinions and feelings are mirrored all throughout WG's gamer base. WG never even tried to fix GLB1 after leaving BETA... instead opting for making half-measures in a similar football sim (GLB2)... then not closing down GLB so everyone would move over to the new sim because they thought they'd lose too many players... and that still rings true. So half (figuratively speaking) of their users are over there (GLB2) and the other half over here... and neither game is really flourishing because of that. Seriously, if they really cared and wanted to, they would take the very best of both sims... add in the features that are missing still that everyone wants, and make a new GLB3 sim... then retire GLB original and GLB2 once half of their userbase has joined the new sim. Hell... even throw in better graphics maybe as well.

So what here is so much more competitive? GLB2 although simpler at least has more of a tactical element to it. Here you don’t really need to do much of anything other than get your tags right. How often do you have to change your plays when they are designed for super specific tags? Take tagging out of this game and lock the offensive DC and it would be so much better. You talk tic-tac-toe but the defensive depth charts are so much better there and you can really use specialists and have a much broader range of schemes. But you wouldn’t know anything about anything. Just the tiresome GLB2 sucks crap. I fell for it too but at least I finally gave it a try for real before I left the games all together. You are correct. They should have turned the lights out here when they made the new game. They were being generous and are repaid by the last remaining users slamming the new game and telling new people not to try it. All while trolling new players and running them out of this game as well. A miserable bitter user base is all that’s left. Bort and CD learned from their mistakes here and made a much improved game. I’m sure they have learned from GLB2 as well. Hopefully a GLB3 will come and they will turn the lights out n the first two. This crowd is just toxic to their future anyways. It’s like being bitter Apple no longer supports and updates the iPhone 3.

Why don't you get a team to the WL and see what you got before you shoot your mouth off about being any good at GLB. Oh yeah, that's right, you can't because you suck at it Mr. Pee Wee. No wonder you want GLB to go away. You just can't win at a game of chess because it requires thinking and your little brain can't handle that. Go back to GLB2 where you belong troll!
