Glad to hear from you podger! Though I now think it was all just your evil ploy that will end up costing me $10 a year and 10 minutes of time each season. Sneaky! I'll do my best to hang on to the reigns until I can find another unsuspecting sucker to take over.

Logical assumption, they do have their own old player that just won't retire

Quick announcement (will post elsewhere also):

The "retirement team" concept is gaining momentum! Elysium Immortals of RPL#3 Eastern Conference has a full starting lineup of 480+ day dots and more dots committed to join next season already. Agent Livestrong has purchased another team in RPL#3 Eastern Conference and renamed it Abyss Lords. This will be another retirement team, and we'll be helping each other build out "old dot" rosters. May take a few seasons, but we hope to ultimately have a couple "retirement vs. retirement" team games each season. May the best old dots win! Who knows, maybe the concept will catch on and others will start teams and ultimately RPL#3 will become a "retirement league" instead of a "CPU league"!? Would be interesting to see what GLBs best OCs/DCs/STCs/tacticians/coaches/gurus could do in a league like this. Like Rookie League but you don't have to restart the roster every season.

Ok, first thing's first, fill out a couple rosters. But, fun or flop, finally something new to try out in GLB after all these years!? The ultimate goal is to field retirement teams with only 600+ day (full decline) dots to "even the playing field", but all 480+ dots will be considered at this point as we know most people retire their old dots before 600.

If you have any dots you may want to add now or in future seasons, let me know, and spread the word! Maybe some World League teams would be interested in keeping their squads together into retirement and beyond?

...or maybe this is dumb and/or breaks GLB. Either way, could be fun!?

I mean, how is it possible the cat team has a full roster in plateau and is back in RPL#3 in a division with all CPU teams?

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/league.pl?league_id=4

Why does this team exist? Bye Felicus.

To be fair, the vast majority of his roster is actually in Decline at this point, not Plateau. So, Regional Pro is actually probably the best place for his team at this point.

But that just highlights the absurdity of Darncat starting this thread to complain about a team of oldsters in Regional Pro.

But his only other option at this point is to retire all of his oldsters and start a new team in Rookie. And it's kinda hard for someone to start a recruiting thread in the forums for a Rookie team when they've gotten themselves forum-banned for throwing around baseless accusations of anti-Semitism and for telling people to kill themselves. It's even harder when they then get their brother to fabricate a story of an alleged hate-crime and directly accuse a paying GLB customer of attempted murder, resulting in the brother getting forum-banned. And it's harder still when they convince their sister-in-law to post things in the forums on their behalf in a blatant attempt to circumvent their own forum-ban, resulting in the sister-in-law getting forum-banned.

Part of me still can't believe all of that actually happened. But all of it actually happened.

So anyway, yeah... he really should've thought all of that through ahead of time, but now here he is... with a dwindling handful of rapidly-aging dots, and no easy way to replace them with new rookie dots. Oops! Guess he'll just milk his Declining dots for all they're worth for as long as he can, because he's out of options at this point.

Well, he can always turn his team into a retirement team and battle Elysium and Abyss. He's already in the correct league.
