That's why some people say to shop later, though it is always good to know earlier when you need to shift your training around so you know how long you can multi-train.

Good question, when is good to start light training if you're going for a 4 AEQ build?

4 AEq - 1200
3AEq - 900

Only you can work that out when to stop training though usually it is around 160 days for a 4 AEq build when you switch to light training.

For one season:

Pre-season (-8 to 0): 8 x 6 = 48
Season (1 to 40): 40 x 6 = 240
Off-season (41 to 48): 8 x 6 = 48
Total season BT's earnt: 336

Also you do get more "complex" peices at higher levels. Like shopping at lvl1 you'll never even got a +5% peice, but at higher levels +5% combined with +3 attributes are common.

The problem is people want one specific +attribute normally and combining that with the perfect +5% or +SA is rare. Some people therorize there is a middle ground at some level where you can find a lot of naked +5% pieces with nothing attached (which are gold since you can choose the +3atty), but honestly I have no idea what level that is at so I shop like a blind dog.

If your last piece's need is super specific though, just build it, don't be dumb.

Yes, they're right... the later you wait the MORE pieces you get. However, for some dots, you get better QUALITY of pieces (IMO) when you go early. Example; Of my 10 current dots (DT, LB, P, WR, TE, C, OT, and 3 Guards) only ONE of them did not get 4 AEQ going BEFORE they even hit level 40. I use to think like everyone else and wait until the very end to shop for my AEQ... and, like many, I got pretty bent when I got buttloads of crappy worthless pieces that I couldn't use, forcing me to refresh over and over and over and over and over.... Frustrated I tried different methods and have settled on one that has worked now for many many seasons.

Truth time. It's not perfect because there IS NO SUCH THING. One of my dots only has 3 AEQ because the shopping sucked for it. It happens. But ONE out of TEN is damn good odds, IMO and I'll take that anyday.

SECOND Truth time. As I posted earlier, there are some special builds where no matter WHEN you shop for pieces, you're NOT going to have a good experience. The way GLB set up the shopping is about stupid as hell. I get it that it should involve SOME risk and that getting great pieces super easy and extra cheap would defeat the purpose of having TWO ways to get AEQ (shop or build). But getting a MAKE TACKLE piece with +3 THROWING for a OT is about as stupid as it gets. Surely they could've done better. But we got what we got... they ain't gonna fix it. So when it comes to specialty builds, some of them get crappy pieces no matter what. Be aware of that and you can still do very good shopping instead of building... but know when building is the better option as well.

Preseason is actually 9 days so 342 total.

When I shop at level 51, I usually add 100 tokens per piece of EQ, so for four pieces I add 400 BT needed. It's usually an overly conservative number that leaves me with extra tokens afterward.

When should we build players for the upcoming season? Could someone tell me what date in May so I can make a reminder for myself? Thank you.

You can start right now until day 48 (7th May), right before the new season is supposed to start.

Building DB's.
I noticed a effective lvl jump, Training block on FS's. Not ST Arch.

Was thinking this may be because of Special team usage/selection.

Is there a reasonable amount to be trained, or is the effective Lvl an error stat.

Effective level has nothing to do with special team usage/selection, but skill points in skills. Majors raise it higher than minors.

EL has nothing to do with having things in the right attributes, it's just about how many SP's worth of attributes are in a build. Pumping majors high then letting auto-level gains boost them will juice your effective level. Training things that are super low or at training hotspots will help as well. Training 8 blocking on any defensive player will help more EL than training a useful stat that's at say 40, since 1 point of each is still the 1-cap and worth 1 SP, but you can train something at 8 a lot faster than something at 40.

It's a good gauge of overall dot building efficiency, but if you start training worthless stats to boost your EL you are doing something very very wrong.

Normally I train some of the low Physical stats to atleast 8-10 .

I was curios if Block may be a good idea if FS is usually added on a ST team. So was asking if say rtraining beyond 10 12 would of been a waste of time. I got my answer thanks.

I've been out of the game for quite awhile but I'm looking to get back in at the ground level. Is there a link someone could point me to that will help me build say a starting level QB and LB? And judging by what I've read so far it's past the time to make new dots so when I get ready to do that how should I train?
