Yea that's true but there is a concept in football that some teams don't play consistently well but are good at being spoilers and have a habit of beating teams with a far better records more often than typical. As you say any team can theoretically beat any other team on a given Sunday but there are teams that it would be very rare if they were to beat a team with a much better record and other teams the top teams should not overlook. I'm basically saying despite your team's less than stellar record that other teams would be wise to give your team a healthy amount of respect or risk an upset.
