I'd love if the Powers That Be were trying to promote the game. I tried GLB 2 and didn't like it much, probably b/c I'd already spent time learning how to do GLB1, and it just felt better.

So you have "WarriorGeneral" (Bort et al.) wanting to roll out the other project, which includes the graphics and sounds they wanted to build in.

So who knows, maybe GLB2 is making bank, and whatever other games they're working on. I think there was some "build a guy that beats up another guy" concept that I saw ads for when I was playing GLB2. Not my cup of tea.

But I'm mainly a hermit, and I don't want to spam the friends and coworkers I do keep track of w/GLB invites. Maybe you younguns do... my understanding is that my hermit nature makes me a total throwback now, and most people are all over various social media etc. several hours a day. Okay, I facebook a lot (proof I'm old,) but it's with a really small circle of people. On purpose. I'm not spamming real people from my real life just in case it's good for some guy named Bort.

All that said, I've gotten a fair amount of enjoyment out of this game over the years. I hope it keeps going. It's just not about to become a core cause in my life.
