I read a majority of this thread and I think this post jumped out at me the most. Whatever side of the fence people are on about GLB, the fact that I tried for three seasons to get on a non-CPU team in GLB2 was a task in futility. It's a small sample of course, but that right there told me never ever waste my personal time on that game.

When it was originally rumored soccer was the next game, I was super pumped about it. Even baseball. When I found out it was a arcade Tecmo Bowl retread, that really disappointed me to the point where i don't think I've purchased any additional FP since then. Now I see fighting games, games about characters who "hate to walk" and my favorite game - GLB - stagnating. I still feel like Peter is an innovative guy and I hold out hope he will come out with the next great thing in sports simulation. But right now, I can't justify further supporting WG financially.
