That's probably because we are all sitting on retired flex and not wanting to buy more for the same price we paid seven years ago. I'm sure a lot will be gone soon. I be down to like 4 dots after this batch.

I was away from the game for 15 seasons or so and had around 200K flex but still I plan to give them $120 for new flex. Could build less than 30 players and don't give them a penny but chose otherwise. Let's pay one more (last?) time in a game that once loved and enjoyed.

Insta 79 dots can't help new players (if one is coming tbh) to learn and understand the game. Maybe I'm wrong, was away for a long time and you know better.

The problem with insta 79 dots is it takes all the fun out of it. Building dots are fun.

Never seen a company completely ignore customer service as part of it's business model until WG. It is one thing to ignore the customers, but to come out to provoke and mock them in the public forums like DD and Cornblade have done on several occasions is infuriating as a customer.

If you want human contact with the devs, rather than announcements and other canned or structured "appearances", then normal human interactions should be expected. They will get annoyed, try to crack jokes etc.

I prefer that over the other options.

yes, building is fun, but 14 months of building is entirely too long considering the unbalanced sim in early stages. If not instant, it needs to be sped up at least by half

Truth. I'd say maybe a compromise on building dots of sorts & have 2 options when you create a dot.

Option 1 - build your dot as you do today...but double the amount of xp gained per day & from games. This effectively cuts the build time in half (7 months is a much improved timeline). Then, remove the levels of Minors that would be no longer relevant given that dots will not fall into those level parameters (Prep, Reg Minor, Semi-Pro).

Option 2 - give an option for an insta-dot the way DD described. Which is to say...you get a crapload of SPs & BTs and can then start assigning them. You lose out on ALGs and all the little things you might do with training...but you get a L79 dot who will likely be decent enough to fill holes, or possibly be even better since you might be incentivized to get 4 aeq. So perhaps we'll find that some positions benefit or are a wash to insta-build that way (given that some of us still tend to f--- up our BT calculations and settle for 3 sometimes when we planned on 4). Either way...it allows the ability to fill roster gaps when needed and instant gratification for players that dont feel like waiting 7 months.

So why not 2 options like that (time vs efficiency)?

I also kind of think that they should get rid of the ALGs but I know that's never going to happen.

if we shortened the build cycle there would be other changes too, cause yeah, you wouldn't be training the same number.

mainly because we'd prefer to have people playing in leagues vs other people. if we kept the long cycle and added a short cycle then the player base would be spread way out with filler cpu teams/players.

Missing a few days logging on early in this build cycle would absolutely cripple a dot.
