Plus the DPC is no more unrealistic than the rest of the sim.

It's BortBall .

Plus roster management in GLB1 is far more geared towards specific plays

Run play - power back, block TE/WR/FB, RQB
Pass Play - scat back, receiving WR/TE/FB, Pass qb

You have far less of that in GLB2 because its one depth chart on offense outside of the use of a GL depth chart and you don't have the luxury of making the perfect min max players per every position.

That is more in line with realism than MMORPG aspects.

Actually NFL teams are extremely predictable in their run/pass tendencies based on formation and personnel.

They do to some degree have players for certain packages, but they don't go nearly to the extremes GLB does. Blocking WR's to Receiving WR's for example.

It's not "to some degree," it's extremely predictable.

That's because in real life you don't have to completely sacrifice blocking to be an effective receiver and vice-versa. But if you don't think they have blocking wide receivers in football whose primary function is to let the team run bubble screens and outside runs, you don't watch much football.

hey guys #33 is coming in at WR, he is just a blocker with no receiving skills so clearly this is just gonna be a pitch left. Send in #38, he is the 5'9", 180 lb Hulk to break his block.

you are probably right. i don't want enough football to have seen that very often.

Considering the fact that those aren't eligible numbers for wide receivers, I think you've made my point quite well.

Thanks!
