The stats are there, granted I agree they can be hard to gather via the site. The addition of Stobie's scouting tool has been wonders in that department however and has made everything player creation and statistic oriented far more intuitive and fun.

The fact that you have to pay extra for a feature like this is very off putting for me....it should be part of the game imo but maybe that's just me

I won't argue that. But it does provide a lot of nice options and is still a work in progress towards even more. A lot of the stuff is shared through guys who have it as well in terms of statistics and rankings as well.

Yeah I don't use Stobies scout tool either. I feel more comfortable visually scouting my opponents. There is someone on the team with it though and I'll ask him to use it every once in a while

Seriously? Because when I was playing GLB2 I witnessed the same sorts of 'exploit' plays working as in GLB and with even less ability to defend them than the DPC granted.

So what's changed over the last few months I've been away? Or you just doing the same old spouting as usual?

Basically both games are immensely exploitable in terms of O vs. D - at times one over the other and vice-versa.

Whatcha talking about Willis?

Nobody is talking about exploit plays. Just you.

Ok. Not exploits. Just plays almost guaranteed to succeed 90%+ of the time. Didn't GLB2 have some issues with QB runs just like GLB. And more. I don't much care anymore. I'm just posting my opinions after a hiatus.

And, hell, par for the course. Diverting the whole point because I used the word - exploit. I even put quotes around it to hopefully denote that it was rather vague description. But I'm sure you understood what I meant perfectly and, as usual, decided to zero in on one thing you could successfully troll me with. The word "exploit."

Kudos. I bow to your tequila inspired intellect.

If your beef is with the fact that some plays work better than others that is just the nature of MMO's in general and the non live aspect of playing the game. There isn't one play in either game that is unstoppable. With the DPC you can create wildly unrealistic defenses to stop plays. Bort has said he wants to steer from that aspect in GLB2 and only will create plays that make sense and have been used in real football.

They removed the GL HB Sweep and Rollouts so nothing is a guaranteed success.

You were the one diverting your own point that nobody was talking about? But ok if you want to believe anyone was....

I was stating my opinion. Not that it matters. Obviously.

I don't really have a beef anymore.

Your opinion had nothing to do with the conversation though...
