Remember back in s.8? Waiting in line to buy a team? There's a ton of reasons why that energy is missing including lame special team code, zero attention from Bort to the client base, no response to common sense suggestions and constant adjustments to the pre s24 SIM. But most of all waiting so damn long to build dots to react to those changes is IMO what killed the instant gratification mindset common to so many users.
For instance over the preseason Jbrowning http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/home/227515 signed back in after being gone a year. He chatted me and discussed getting back in the game. Then decided it would take too long to see his dots mature to a point where they'd be fun watching. I just checked his page. He built just one dot, forgot to get him boosted and didn't even retire his dead dots.
The business and marketing part of the brains at GLB just don't have it switched on.
If GLB wants fresh flex in this game then sell the customer base what they want and add Insta-dots.
Don't replace the current system, sim, nothing just add insta-dots as an option for gawds sake.

But the contention I have is that people enjoy the game more when they have more dots....thus will spend even more over time.
