I should sell this, call it something catchy like TSE 2015 and profit.

Conehold: But boss, did you see the plane?
Bort: What PLANE??
Conehold: Oh, I mean the recent GLB-linked purchase report.
Bort: Oh, we need more of that.
[Insert the Superbowl ad with monkies in a boardroom before the punline]

Insta any level would help save this game.

Being able to pay for infinite extended plateau would help save this game.

Team/League competition is the core of what made GLB great. The process of accomplishing that is imperfect. If it was made easier to accomplish the end goal, then there would be more teams.

As a team owner, you can recruit your ass off, and end up with an incomplete roster. That hamstrings a team, and gives agents a feeling of wasted time and money. Why do that to the user base, when all it would take to correct it, is insta dots that could fill the roster gaps? It would make the game more competitive, and make everyone happy.

I could see an end to GLB being announced now and close as in 12 seasons aka a year+ish.

Where they honour the higher paying members more as in if you spent more than $500, you will get a full team with free boosts and equipment as a last hooray and free flex points (Old times but free points will not carry over). Other members can carry on as usually with their dots.

After the 12 seasons, the GLB classic will be closed and this announcement will serve as fair warning for your flex points and your flex points will carry into our future games. Therefore, you have lost nothing and we will continue to provide your gaming needs within the WG gaming environment'ish.

Gag me now and throw me into a 50 shades of grey scene...

I know! Imagine needing just one intercept CB built just the way you want. Hitman steals the last one on the board. So you build one (pay for it of course) and you've got your defense complete.

That might make it too easy for a lot of OC's

The same 65% that are still starting over at rookie to make the same exact player they just retired? That 65%? Ya I am sure they will be like well fuck that's it. That was the straw that broke my back. Fuck this game I am out.

They would be great if the game wasn't still the same game. But if all they do is introduce insta 79's well I guess the writing is certainly on the wall that this game is done.

This game was done when they decided to create their own competition (glb2).

I completely agree here. Insta 79's are not a panacea unless there are fundamental changes to the structure.

Not really. If the whole game reset tomorrow with an entire different strategy I would bet a lot of people would swing right back over here for all the control. If they went insta level 79's, made up a ton of new VA's, swapped in some new SA trees and said for the next 4 seasons you were going to get SA and VA points. All while changing all the formations and plays to something mostly new. I'd gizz my pants and retire everything GLB2 had to offer.
