I don't know if that makes it definitely a ground and pound type game but it brings the offenses to a more natural realistic state. Also just make SG5WR a healthy scratch. Even GLB2 has shown the worthlessness of that formation in a game. Could probably send over that diamond formation though. Not sure how well people would pass from that in GLB1 though.

At any rate people wouldn't be compelled to draw up the same strategies as they currently have with the same plays they currently have if you reset everyone to the bottom. They of course might develop similar build strategies but the playbook would hopefully be fresh with new ideas (2 HB's in the Wings and wishbone, 2 FB's in diamond).

to be fair, I kinda agree with gboro, even considering this. obviously I'm biased here, but...

-there isn't a pressing need to log into glb2 as regularly, as "timing" is taken out of the leveling system, so it doesn't matter *when* your points are spent. Please note that I think that this is a really good game-design decision, but it does have the effect that you won't feel the need to log in as often

-so to then be booted off cpu teams due to inactivity *is* kind of annoying, because the game design specifically allows for a more casual approach

-once booted off, I can totally see not checking back in later to see if there is a "catch up" feature. when you receive bad or annoying customer service from a business, you don't often voluntarily check back in with them, you go somewhere else. It's just a risk in any service environment that once you've given a customer a bad experience, you might not get the chance to undo that, *even if the mechanism to undo it is super easy to do*.

But anyhoo, not really trolling, I actually think you keep a remarkably positive attitude aroudn these boards given the amount of GLB2 hate that gets poured in your direction every day. But I don't think gboro's reaction is silly or even all that uncommon.

Are you booted off a CPU team for inactivity or because the season ends and you haven't renewed a contract or signed a contract for a CPU for the new season?

Certainly isn't the best system in place for finding a quality team over there I agree. And by quality I don't mean a good team, I mean a team that isn't ran by a CPU.

yeah, and how many of those people went inactive after not being able to find a team, i got so annoyed at being kicked off CPU teams for not loging into the deuce, that my guy fell behind, and i was no longer the same level as dots created at the same time, i just retired the player. I have never gone inactive on warrior general FWIW, just on the deuce.

I didn't know they were separate. I have a gm running the Faith, so barely go there till saw dots whining about absent owner.

I barely come to GLB because of an absent owner.........

If you create a dot for Springfield you would have an overactive owner.

You say that, but the rumors are different, and they have both been AWOL for some time now. Maybe if they actually did something like updating their newest game when it is sorely in need of some changes we would believe that they haven't left for greener pastures.
