I'm going by who posted what in the forums. Not who actually pulled the trigger.

Non boosting needed to be shut down for what it was. It made the minors system a lot like how Regional pro is set up. Really awful. But how it was handled was kinda poor.

Non-boosters helped minors fill gaps. The fact so many teams went CPU in the season following that proves it. Owners could no longer fill in O-line, Dline spots with non-boosters any longer and just gave up.

By capping how many points that could be spent per season per stat. It would have forced players to build more balanced.. It could work. Hell it may even get people playing with test builds again. They would need to find a balance point that still allows creativity mind you. But you have to admit making the game fun from day 1 all the way up would help a bit

builds would be even more cookie cutter by the time they reach plateau
and you can still compete at lower levels while building for the end game
there are just a LOT of bad builders out there - I guess that is what they thought the appeal of GLB2 would be - no planning needed relative to ALG's or anything

Planning in GLB2 is all about your day 1 caps. After that ya it is a bit of a drag. You can already see so many builds headed down the exact same path. Something will be needed to revolutionize that or people will make one or 2 full runs and be done with it. But it does make the middle of it all a little more interesting I guess as there are different paths of success middle of the tiers.

meanwhile both of my last two dots were improvements on their successors.
Need better trolls in these streets.
