I have finally stepped off the ledge after yesterday's game, and am ready to get out the GOTW. We had 4 really good matchups, but I narrowed it down to the 2 involving 7-1 teams takin on 6-2 teams.
Dallas Paladins v Legacy's Runnin with the Real McCoy's
This is a matchup of one team we expected to be near the top, and another one that is a bit of a surprise. Dallas has been a good pro team the past couple of seasons, but this yr they are takin it to CPL. A 7-1 start with the top ranked offense, and although they haven't had the toughest early schedule, it wasn't the easiest either. Their QB Travis Chappell has been on fire all season and finds himself squarely in the OMVP race. Dallas has scored a lot of points against everyone this side of FBRD, and there is no shame in being limited against them. Legacy find themselves back in this thread comin off back to back losses to former WL teams. I would be more shocked about the loss to Cobden, but even though they haven't looked as strong as seasons past, everyone knows the quality of the Muskrats. Legacy is of course lead by their run game which still leads the conference. They have talent in the backfield galore, and Yue Fei is a flat out beast. Our key matchup for this game though will be whether Legacy can put the clamps on the high flying Dallas offense. Their defense struggled mightly against Cobden, and I'm afraid that might continue. In what I would consider an upset, I think Dallas outscores Legacy for a huge win.
Prediction: Dallas 44 Legacy 40
College Station Aggies v Cincinnati Shockers
Cincinnati is my favorite to win the USA conference, and they have done nothing to disprove that so far. They have one of the best coordinator setups Iv seen, and the dots to match. Their first ranked offense has proved nearly impossible to slow down, and their defense outside of the KC game has been lights out. Glenn Young is going Peyton Manning on the rest of the league and is rightfully at the top of the OMVP list. Their back half of the schedule is tougher than the front half, but I have a feeling those teams are more worried about facing Cincy, then Cincy is about facing them. Ray has put together another great squad over at CSA, and despite his obnoxious Aggie postings in the CFB thread is a good dude. CSA has had a cake walk for the most part, but got destroyed by FBRD and just lost out to KC, unable to score more than a FG in the decisive 4th quarter. They do have a top 3 passing offense, but time will tell whether or not that is a result of their previous opponents or they are that good. Against Cincy, I think it will be the former and not the latter. Cincy is too good, too deep, and too well coached, and I think they win this going away.

I am really glad you were wrong. I did not want to see a 3 game losing streak. There wasn't anyway I could argue with your post though. Sounded spot on.
