Week 7 - Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies - Legacy's Runnin with the Real McCoys

An epic battle of two undefeated teams with pretty reasonable hopes of makin WL this season. The ground game of McCoy's is tops in the conference, its what they do. They ground CPL to a pulp before succumbing to B1G in the playoffs last season, just missing out on theWL. FBRD is a former WL champ, and just missed out on the playoffs up there this past season. They look as good as advertised, making their way through a difficult early schedule unscathed. Legacy has had it easier with only one tough opponent in Viscous, but they have handled it well looking impressive in the process. Both teams also carry a top 5 OMVP candidate, with FBRD's QB Akane Tendo putting on a show with 20 TDs and only 1 INT. Legacy counters with their beast QB Yue Fei who has already amassed 22 TDs! The key matchup will be FBRD's defense trying to contain McCoy's running attack. I don't think stopping it is ever possible, but slowing it down enough and giving Tendo the opportunity to toss the dotball is doable, and alas what I think will happen. A close game, and higher scoring than either defense normally allows, but in the end FBRD's pedigree is too much, and they win a critical game for playoff seedings.

Prediction: FBRD 41 - LRWTRM 30

I hope its that close of a game

I still remember yall putting 70+ back to back weeks to end last regular season. There is no underestimating that offense from my desk.

GG. I really gotta work out the end game OAI there. Got a lot of the bugs fixed after the Cobden game but still some stuff to work on for down the stretch.

KC's Metro Choppers - Austin's Wineswilling Fancy Boys

This is an interesting game mostly because of the record. Austin's schedule to this point couldn't have been easier but they are what their record says at this point, an undefeated team. I am not sure how good they are, they could be the next WL champion, or just a pretty good Pro team taking advantage of the cupcakes. Their QB is named after one of the hottest women evah, and a personal favorite from my youth. Mid table on the OMVP standing but she has put some monster numbers up. Shits hot. KC has almost the polar opposite story so far. They have played a monster schedule, and shined. Fresh off a win over a really good CSA team and just barely losing to league favorites Cincy, the forecast for KC is bright. Their run attack is second in the league, and they have rode it to their 6-1 record. The matchup comes down to Austin getting enough stops for their own high powered attack, and I just don't see that happening. KC is battle tested and on a roll, and they knock Austin off their perch.

Prediction: KC 40 - Austin 27

Burnside Bandits - Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies

Its a contest of teams quite frankly I wish were still in WL. Nice guys on both teams, I just wish I didn't have to face either. Burnside has yet to face any of the top teams, but did start the season off with an offensive explosion nearly taking down KC. Its that top ranked offense that has them in a good position half way through the season. They have a 2 headed monster with Quincy Banner tossin bombs and Muscle Hamster truckin dots and look tough to stop. FBRD has taken the toughest schedule so far, and laughed at it. Even lacking full chemistry they made beating an excellent McCoys team look easy. Their defense is a wall which has yet to be truly breached. They get a huge test against Burnside, but after watching them hold the run game of LRWTRM down count me a believer. Burnside is good, FBRD is a WL champ.

Prediction: Burnside 20 FBRD 34
